Remember when they spun this line in 2024, we then went on to sign Chiesa and nobody else, they told us Slot didn't want anybody. Slot then said recently that we had no money to spend in 2024 - he basically admitted they lied to us. They will do the same thing with Iraola. #LFC

@TaintlessRed No I agree the stats will be skewed but they offer insight regardless. I also think Dom is too much of a loss to not have in midfield, his engine will be crucial especially for Iraola's style.

@_KennyLFC_ If you prefer Frimpong at RB to Dom that's fine but you cannot make this comparison as evidence of anything not only because Dom played multiple positions but because it's too simplistic. Use different evidence to backup your claim.

As things stand Szoboszlai is still Liverpool's best rightback even though he was also our best midfielder. Bradley had a huge injury so we've no idea how he'll recover, what level he can reach, and Frimpong struggled defensively at RB. Little sign LFC will buy another rightback.

Same situation with Szoboszlai and Rice. They're high performing midfielders (although can't do certain things, e.g. playmaking) but with injuries they're their team's best options at rightback even if they don't want to play there.
