@pokemomandgirls It’s a difficult time finding a basic mon deck :( I played some absol box , but it’s not easy either. I play Lucario and venusaur atm, Lucario is probably the most simple to maybe try ?

Had an amazing weekend judging TCG at Prague Regional. A very warm and busy Saturday and a very fun Sunday at main event and Prize Wall rewarding people for their hard work at Sides. The bags were so cool with removable frameworks inside for deck boxes.

I made it to the final of the Pokémon Champions Side Event in Prague, the first official tournament of this new game. Kinda bad match up in the last bo3, and @OgreVGC also played very well, Gg to him! Definitely a nice way to end this weekend.
(I redeemed the ETB with the Prize Points, let's see what I find 👀)

After having judged around 30 major events over the last 4 years, it was time in Prague to switch sides and compete for my first time at a Regional with Alakazam ft. Togekiss 🥄
Most matches didn't go as wished with Togekiss flipping tails 7 out of 9 times 😔

When I ask local stores to let me run VG events, the answer is always: "We're a card shop, why should we host a video game tournament?" Having to beg for locals is demeaning. The internet thing isn't gonna help. Please free us from the league system that was clearly made for TCG.

There is a Dutch/flemish speaking side and a French speaking side. I do speak Dutch/flemish so I could assist in helping to translate into that kind of “belgian”.

@PamamoVGC I miss the time when those tournaments could be run at a library or community center. There the internet was always free , no issues and there was alot of place. GO and VGC are difficult to organise at stores that are focussed on TCG and don’t see money for VGC and GO . It’s sad.

So I've spent the morning with a friend testing out the mechanics behind Water in Pokémon Pokopia, specifically how it spreads, when it gets directed towards cliffs and basically how far it will go.
Hydrological and hydrodynamical Serebii is in the house.
