4.5% of the 6% that exercised paid the taxes but never saw a dollar because of preferences or the startup didn't work out. *Estimate that I made up but know numerous people who've been through it

I'm not a traditional founder or CEO. My background is mixed at best. Thus far my path to success (what it means to me not you/them) has been all over the place + full of dead ends. So if you're like me, just know: the time for nontraditional is now & we need you. You got this 🙂

The team will often take 10x-20x longer to come to the same conclusion you already came to But if you don't let them, you can't scale

One thing that grinds my gears is when **early stage** startup co-founders aren't transparent with each other about the financial health of the business. Even better - be transparent with your employees.
