I have a small, and mostly inactive following, but I would like to share my final thoughts on being a project founder for @_MagnumAI. When I began building Magnum, the majority of projects in the space were built on art and community. Utility was non existent, except a few projects with staking and a token, which was instantly dumped, most of the time. The space was challenging, but provided opportunities for teams to pursue their creative goals. Solana NFTs gave me and my team the chance to flex our creative muscles, which is exactly what we did over the past two years. We made an unforgettable collection, 1:1 animations for each trait in the collection, a ridiculous amount of 1/1's, and several viral Crypto NFT trailers. I truly believe our team worked hard to deliver on what we set out to accomplish; badass pixel art, a strong community, and top tier NFT alpha. While I miss the simplicity and fun of the early days, I am glad to have tackled the challenges of growing and surviving the ever changing NFT landscape. It was necessary for the space to mature, outgrowing the degenerate mints and constant day one rugs. Our team would have liked to continue growing Magnum with the space, but the reality is that we no longer see a way forward as a business or PFP project. I have no doubt more projects will experience the same fate, due to market conditions and the inability to find a sustainable revenue source. There is no playbook on how to run a project in this space, and I applaud the teams and founders that have given their all to their projects, because it can be tireless and thankless work. Magnum AI has been my home for over two years, and it's hard to believe that we are discontinuing development. I want to thank everyone from the community and my team for their support over that time. This has been an unforgettable experience, and I will always be grateful to each and everyone of you that supported me, while I was working on Magnum. THANK YOU...

MAGNUM AI FAMILY, It has been 603 days since we officially minted out the Magnum AI collection on March 01, 2022. We set out with the goal of building a robust community, creating badass retro pixel art, and providing alpha opportunities. We did that by fostering a strong community pre-mint and post-mint, creating nostalgic pixel art and animated trailers with over 10 minutes of runtime, and providing thousands of the top whitelist opportunities. Magnum was meant to be an art and community based project, but we still tried adapting to the ever changing Solana NFT ecosystem by providing utilities and tools. We internally developed several utilities for our holders; Staking, Raffle Page, Alpha Review page, NFT Mint calendar, Animated Art Upgrader, and the Twitter Raiding Tool. These were meant to scale into future B2B offerings, but the reality is that our internal development did not keep pace with the space and our work became obsolete. For example, we put months of hard work into creating a twitter raiding tool, but two other projects released the same tool before us and Twitter changed their API pricings, which made it unaffordable to launch. While we had good intentions trying to pivot towards revenue generating utilities and tools, we were unable to build the foundation needed to support our long term growth. Magnum has not generated significant royalties or runway in over 14 months. As of today, the runway is nearly depleted and development is at a standstill. We no longer see a way forward as a business or PFP project. It's a sad situation for our team, because we have put A LOT hard work into Magnum, and we care about the community. We are sharing this information today to begin the process of sunsetting Magnum's development. We are not going to immediately discontinue hosting our website or staking platform. The aim of this announcement is to give our holders time to unstake their NFTs, to prevent them from being stuck in the staking contract permanently. Holders will have roughly six weeks from this announcement (12/06/2023), to unstake their NFTs. Just to be clear… Our team will no longer be developing Magnum. However, the art and discord are not going anywhere. - The Discord will be left for the community. @ablazennn and @WackoSenshi will still be in the Discord if you ever need anything! - The Magnum NFTs will continue to be available on-chain. Unfortunately, that means you can no longer use the art upgrader. - If there are any holders that would like to participate further in managing the Discord, please reach out to @ablazennn. A message from @ablazennn, @WackoSenshi, and @crypto_frozone... We want to thank everyone from the community for your support over the past two years. For the holders that benefited from the Magnum project, we are happy to have helped you in some way. For those that feel like we messed up or didn't do a good job, we are sorry that we did not meet your expectations. We never took this opportunity for granted, and we hope that has shown through our work. We truly appreciate our holders that allowed us the opportunity to build and create on Solana. We are most thankful for the supporters who gave us grace when we messed up along the way. For all the community members, especially those that we call friends, we hope to continue to see you in the Discord and across the X timeline. Crypto NFTs are home to some of the top creatives and that's exactly why we want to continue learning and building here. We look forward to being a part of the ecosystem for many years to come.
