@PeterTatchell We still need oils for many things not just energy, pharmaceuticals, agricultural fertilisers, shipping and aviation fuel, lubricants for wind turbines, etc, etc. Plus 23 million homes in the UK still need gas for heating and hot water.

@TheGreenParty Nationalisation is not the panacea for privatised utilities. Who will pay for the re-nationalisation?🤔 That's right the already hard pressed taxpayers. Water polution isn't the result of privatisation, it's the deregulation of water companies since Brexit.
