Scottish politics should cut a deal to deal to shut this man out of any corridor of power.

As aside, the number of resignations is a great demonstration of the sheers scale of the payroll vote in our parliaments.

There is something poetic about Starmer being subject to the same resignation parade he was once so willing to perform in himself a decade ago. Bye bye.

The current Labour crisis was always the likely outcome from the scorched earth policy applied after Starmer won the leadership promising continuity with Corbyn's manifesto. Its authors knowingly destroyed Labour and judged it a price worth paying for purging the left.

Starmer a disaster obv but ...in @ScottishLabour 's case; Anas and Jackie had complete control of policy, strategy and messaging, for years. Failed to construct any remotely coherent platform, for years. Misread the situation, for years. This was a defeat made in Scotland.
