Six months ago I was a 30-year trades veteran who couldn't write a line of code. Last night my AI system built, wrote, and scheduled tomorrow's entire content operation in 36 seconds while I slept. Here's what we actually built 🧵

OpenClaw skills are powerful. But the marketplace is still the wild west. Here's what you need to know: Built-in skills: - Bundled with OpenClaw. Summarize videos, transcribe audio, manage Notion. - Safe. Verified. Just type "skills list" to see them all. Custom skills: - You build these yourself. Automate anything you do repeatedly. - Tell OpenClaw "turn this into a skill." Full control. Marketplace skills (clawhub ai): - Anyone can upload them. - Someone analyzed the top skills on the platform and a bunch had malicious instructions hidden inside. How to stay safe: → Check the security scan badge → Read the comments → Actually look at what the skill does before activating The automation is incredible. Just don't skip the 30-second security check.

THE ULTIMATE GUIDE TO OPENCLAW (1hr free masterclass) 1. fix memory so it compounds add MEMORY.md + daily logs. instruct it to promote important learnings into MEMORY.md because this is what makes it improve over time 2. set up personalization early identity.md, user.md, soul.md. write these properly or everything feels generic. this is what makes it sound like you and understand your world 3. structure your workspace properly most setups break because the foundation is messy. folders, files, and roles need to be clean or everything downstream degrades 4. create a troubleshooting baseline make a separate claude/chatgpt project just for openclaw. download the openclaw docs (context7) and load them in. when things break, it checks docs instead of guessing this alone fixes most issues!! 5. configure models and fallbacks set primary model to GPT 5.4 and add fallbacks across providers. this is what keeps tasks running instead of failing mid-way 6. turn repeat work into skills install summarize skill early. anything you do 2–3 times → turn into a skill. this is how it starts executing real workflows 7. connect tools with clear rules add browser + search (brave api). use managed browser for automation. use chrome relay only when login is neededthis avoids flaky behavior 8. use heartbeat to keep it alive add rules to check memory + cron healthif jobs are stale, force-run themthis prevents silent failures 9. use cron to schedule real work set daily and weekly tasksreports, follow-ups, content workflowsthis is where it starts acting without you 10. lock down security properly move secrets to a separate env file outside workspace. set strict permissions (folder 700, file 600). use allowlists for telegram access. don’t expose your gateway publicly 11. understand what openclaw actually is it’s a system that remembers, acts, and improves. basically, closer to an employee than a tool this ep of @startupideaspod is now out w/ @moritzkremb it's literally a full 1hr free course to take you from from “i installed openclaw”to “this thing is actually working for me” most people are one step away from openclaw working they installed it, they tried it and it didn’t click this ep will make it click all free, no advertisers, i just want to see you build your ideas with ideas with this ultimate guide to openclaw watch

@_Mike_Warner @startupideaspod exactly this. Claude reading the SKILL.md + its referenced scripts in one pass catches 90% of sketchy patterns — unexpected external API calls, writes outside workspace, eval() calls. takes 2 minutes. worth it every time.

Maybe the sickest OpenClaw use case I've ever built I now have my own R&D department Twice a day 5 different AI models autonomously meet and discuss my business They take a look at my products/content and debate eachother and come up with next steps to grow revenue They then send me a memo that describes all their discussions and next action steps I need to take It's been WILDLY helpful. Especially in developing my new product This is how you use super intelligence to autonomously earn you money Here's how to set it up: 1. Go to OpenClaw 2. Ask it to set up a dashboard for an R&D council (5 different AI models) 3. Have them meet at 9am and 5pm every day 4. Give them access to all your links, code, and anything you're working on 5. Have one of them (rotating) come up with a new idea 6. Have all 5 debate 7. Build a report based on their discussions Now twice a day you'll get a ping with a detailed memo describing how to grow your business Next steps is making all of these 5 models local so they can run for free and do this around the clock If you implement workflows like this, I promise your life will change

@Weixin_WeChat I laugh at those who think OpenClaw is a waste of time. I am building an amazing business using Claude and OpenClaw. At the same time huge corporations are also using OpenClaw. 💯🔥

guys I think Anthropic is in the final stages of building a cheaper and safer OpenClaw. > integrated with your Claude subscription so you won’t need to pay for additional APIs > no need for Mac Minis > better memory and context > fewer security holes and vulnerabilities

You can now schedule recurring cloud-based tasks on Claude Code. Set a repo (or repos), a schedule, and a prompt. Claude runs it via cloud infra on your schedule, so you don’t need to keep Claude Code running on your local machine.

@PeterDiamandis When I am working with Claude and OpenClaw I am amazed at the work they can accomplish. I am also amazed when I come up with ideas and strategies they didn't "think" of. We are a powerful team.

Did you know the human brain generates about 6,200 thoughts per day? That's roughly 6 thoughts per waking minute. Your brain is literally running thousands of parallel processes continuously... and it only needs 20 watts of power. A single ChatGPT query uses the same energy your brain uses in 54 seconds. Your brain: 20 watts, 86 billion neurons. An NVIDIA H100 GPU: 700 watts, billions of transistors. Nature built better hardware

anthropic has been cooking hard lately it is amazing how the AI race now suddenly feels like it has mostly come down to openai and anthropic but gemini are still the strongest in world knowledge and spatial reasoning -- so it would be a mistake to count google out too early

Good point on vetting. Before installing any ClawHub skill the fastest manual check: read the SKILL.md, then open the actual scripts it references. Legitimate skills don't need to reach out to external APIs you didn't expect or write to files outside the workspace. The real danger is eval() in a skill script or unexpected HTTP calls. Takes 2 minutes to spot.

I talk to Claude and have him evaluate in bash what I am doing in OpenClaw. Elon is my main agent. I don't download skills. I just have Claude evaluate a skill and then customize it for our setup. Claude instructs me with implementation into bash. Elon takes over from there. I have built an impressive business using this combination.

People don't want to work on things that are hard. Setting up OpenClaw and getting it to do specific work takes a lot of time, especially for us non-techies. If you stick with it, it is worth it. I have rebuilt my website and now have a half dozen products for sale that didn't exist before OpenClaw.

Posting "OpenClaw is dead" is the biggest self own in history It proves you are larping as a tech guy Every person who has used OpenClaw properly knows it's the most powerful software ever released Yes it's complicated, but when used correctly it saves you hours a day and gives you unlimited leverage Saying you think it sucks or it's dead is just you saying you can't figure it out so you're blaming everyone else Also there has never been a tool in history that has died and people went on Twitter to announce its death Dead tools die in silence. When n8n died nobody went on X and said n8n is dead. They just stopped using it and moved onto the next tool The fact that every other post and youtube video is "openclaw is dead" proves OpenClaw is still alive Half of the 'AI influencers' who said OpenClaw is stupid have already reversed course. The other half I promise you will reverse course over the next year when they realize the tools they've been shilling you are now completely irrelevant. Jensen Huang, literally the smartest human being on earth right now has said OpenClaw is the most important software in history. The faster you get on board, the faster you'll change your life.

What this means for contractors: The companies winning online aren't better at their trade. They have better digital infrastructure. We built an AI system that closes that gap — for contractors running $2M-$10M/year who are tired of losing to inferior competitors with better websites. Daily intelligence reports are live: korekomfortsolutions.com #AI #Contractors #OpenClaw #HVAC #SmallBusiness

The honest version: It took months. An old laptop. A lot of hallucinating agents. A hardware upgrade to 64GB RAM + 2TB Ubuntu machine. And hundreds of hours working with Claude Sonnet to build and harden the system. It works now. Work that took days takes an hour.
