@Cliff8161 @MarsBlut53 @frozennoahat @cegs17 Der emulator ändert nicht das rom allerdings kann der emulator einfach ein anderes rom mit der jeweiligen sprache laden. Der emulator benutzt ja anscheinend diverse hacks und system calls in dem release wodurch ich mir da kein problem vorstellen kann.

Er emuliert echte Hardware, wenn also DAMALS keine Sprachauswahl existierte, können sie heute auch keine implementieren. Außerdem, in wie vielen Sprachen spielt ihr?

@frozennoahat @cegs17 Klar, sieht halt nur dumm im shop aus 10 mal das gleiche spiel zu zeigen. Hoffe das niemand ausversehen die falsche sprache kauft weil die meisten bestimmt direkt auf das erste glurak/bisaflor klicken das sie sehen.

@frozennoahat @cegs17 War auch schon in anderen replies geposted aber der emulator kann dich nach deiner sprache fragen oder die system sprache nutzen und dann das entsprechende rom laden. Ist kaum mehr aufwand statdessen packen sie alle sprach versionen einzeln in den shop.

@meganigas @Techjunkie_Aman Skill issue? literally just downloaded blue dragon for the ds. Incase you dont know how to navigate the site, for example to download ds games click on files -> no intro -> nintendo ds -> the game you want for example blue dragon and the download starts.

@R0N3Y33 @Matthew31679255 @BoundaryBreak Not true, dithering is used for a lot of things. Boundary break should have also showed an example of dither transparency instead of only that looping clip. Given a high enough resolution dithering can be used for transparency while rendering every visible pixel as opaque.

@AgentHoneyPot @pheenoh Better native performance for higher render resolution, modding and other things like input mapping. Ofc you can increase the resolution on emulators too but it comes with overhead and some potential wonkyness.

@pheenoh cool stuff. i never found a need for this with the existence of emulators. ofc i own a copy/ license of TP so i dont find it unethical to have an image to run on my PC. every game started out on PC after all. and as a life long mod maker, i like creative access.

@ahernandez094 @RiazorMC Both ds games have a dpad romhack available over on romhacking.net for spirit tracks d0k3's hack seems to be the hack to use for bundling some qol with it but im unsure which one of the 2 dpad hacks for phantom hourglass are better.

@Henn_rai_cho @Levrit1 @SmilodonnaVT With the ds games you can use wiimmfi to trade or battle with other useres connected to it (real hardware or emulated). Basically a third party wfc run by fans/enthusiasts, also not just pokemon exclusive, other ds games work too.

@ShinyHaunter05 @kitsuneredFES You are correct that they have the rights to the games however emulation is not illegal. This has been established in court, sega lost once and sony lost twice making emulation legal. The illegal part is the acquisition of the roms, completely different.

@kitsuneredFES Completely different. Nintendo and TPC own the rights to the franchise and Nintendo owns the the rights to the system being emulated. There’s a difference.

@BlockEvader22 @ZHerkoo @KhetBurnell747 You are right. Reload being R makes sense with the usual convention of using the first letter of a thing like I for inventory, J for journal, G for grenade etc. G for grenades/throwables he has also struggled with in battlefield iirc lol
