@delightfjohnson Since I tried Upwork in 2022/23 and always got my proposal falling through, I have always relied on pitching to clients directly. However, my struggle isn’t about getting clients as I have worked with over 100 clients but bagging high-paying gigs. Indigenous clients pay less.

There are some YouTube channels I come across and instantly I can tell the creator isn’t seriously concerned about getting monetized. You can’t be intentional about monetization and have; ✅ a tacky thumbnail ✅ an unnecessary long and less catchy video title

@CrispyOnWeb3 I have noticed that sometimes it’s not that the people unfollowed you, but X might have logged them out for some weird reasons. It happens to me too on my official account. Some days I wake up to my follower/followed count lesser than the day before.

@CrispyOnWeb3 I genuinely see no reason why people should do that. It’s called social media for a reason. X is built for people to socialize, build relationships, and create meaningful networks. Following someone and later unfollowing them is just pure wickedness mixed with insanity.

Reach out. Cold message and email prospective clients. Some of them attach their emails in their bios; others don’t but you can reach out to them via inbox. It’s not a 100% guarantee but it works when you reach out instead of waiting for prospective clients to reach out.

One thing about YouTube is that you don't necessarily need to crack the code all by yourself. You just need to find a pattern that works and replicate it on your channel. Chances are, if it's a pattern that pulls traction, your channel can tap into that traction. See 👇
