The Barbie box was too busy last week when we watched Barbie, so we waited in the line today as it wasn't as busy, but Ryan was still getting a little anxious, a girl and her mum who were waiting in front of us kindly asked Ryan if he wanted to go next , it makes all the difference when people show kindness and don't Judge.

I'm not having maths and English working walls this year (in fact I'm relatively sure no display will be dedicated to anything other than reading and perhaps art) and I'm absolutely thrilled that I won't have to pretend that I'm going to update them or that the kids use them.

Ryan used to only eat lunchables, to encourage him to try different foods I would put different foods out and let it it be his choice wether her ate them or not eventually he would try different foods, then we started going to food markets where Ryan could taste more of a variety of food , any he liked I'd take pictures of or take a note of what they were called ,he's grown particularly fond of trying different cheeses , this has taken years not days or weeks but years .

As an autistic kid, I loved drama. I thought I was a broken neurotypical as I struggled with people, and then thought I was a bad autistic because I liked imaginary worlds over STEM.
Today it hit me again that we really did make a show about autistic girls, with autistic actors.

I have found treasure in my life, real treasure: family & friends. I am lucky to have found such love, friendship & hope in my life - especially at times when I have felt very lost & fragile.

Hey, if you have a DX of ADHD, but your life has inexplicably fallen apart when you got older *Statistically* it’s Autism & probably one or two servings of CPTSD. You don’t have to take my word for it, ask the thousands of AuDHDers who went through that mindfork too.
