@_Nineteen96 It's harder to justify $70 at once compared to smaller transactions that add to that. These demographics end up paying more in the long because these games are purposely made to keep you playing and addicted.

You miss out on an entire generation of potential lifelong fans. The reason younger fans are dropping from DQ/FF is due to this. They take too long to come out!

@thedrunkendan @inkfycreates I agree. So many little options for younger gamers. We’re also competing for attention span. I think younger gamers today want instant gratification in their games. It’s difficult for me to see a future where younger gamers are siting down playing a 40-60hr JRPG. Hope I’m wrong.

@_Nineteen96 @inkfycreates The most important new audience, younger players. One of the biggest problems with AAA that isn't Sega or Nintendo is the lack of big name titles for kids. We had so many options where today it's that, dig for an indie, or Fortnite (don't let kids play Roblox) 2/2

@ohaiyokaiyo @mlittlewood01 RE is one of the few classic franchises that’s very accessible. You can every mainline RE game on PSN, XBL, and Steam. There is no reason to not have played these games if you can yourself a fan.

@_Nineteen96 @BosyMariusz @ProfNoctis Yes and no. Kids today are fully willing to follow a story pretty much forever... they just don't want to have to pay for it. This is why narrative heavy Gatcha is so popular with the younger crowds right now, at least if playing without paying is feasible.

@OLaverly @ProfNoctis No, the same is happening with Dragon Quest, which has barely changed since the 80s. It's because kids play Roblox, Fortnite, gacha etc. Live-service games that you can potentially play for a very long time, and mobile games, instead of an old series with loads of entries.

@NightSkyKing_ JRPGs are just a niche genre. It’s a double edge sword. They either completely change and lose their older audience. Or continue to go down this route. I can’t find a future where they please both audiences.

I was literally telling someone yesterday that because the Great Reset wants to reduce travel, and any future travel will require compliance with the Beast system, the goal is to privatize the TSA so that a private company can get away with denying your freedom of movement in a way government never could. We saw this goal announced last year.
I said to this person that the government shutdown resulting in airport disruption in the U.S. was happening at a very convenient time for the Great Reset right now.
I also said that very soon we would see big tech offer to privatize the TSA to “save travel” which would allow for the transfer of power over travel to a corporation aligned with the Beast system.
Less than 24 hours later, Elon swoops in to save the day. Pretty much everyone in the comments is cheering.
Very few truly understand how those pushing the Reset operate, and how they will achieve their goals.
Big tech already determines our right to speak. Soon, they will determine our right to move.
