Last photo of Brazilian tourist, 26-year-old Juliana Marins, who was left to die by her Indonesian tour guide after she fell during a hike on Mount Rinjani. After becoming exhausted during the trek, Juliana was left behind while the guide continued ahead with the rest of the group. Not long after, she slipped and fell hundreds of meters down the mountain. Drone footage later showed she was still alive after the fall, trapped on a steep slope below the trail. Rescue teams reportedly knew where she was but failed to reach her in time, leaving her without food, water, or proper protection in the cold. Days later, Juliana was found dead. An autopsy said she died from severe trauma and internal bleeding after the fall.

@Nic21121970 @creepydotorg Mountain climbimb aint for the weak. Those who reach the summit aren't admired for nothing. It takes everything will, strength etc. You cant expect ppl to through down everything for you. All she had to do was rest , stay put and wait for them on the way down.

@frostfirefaerie @Nic21121970 @creepydotorg They are tons of pebbles in mount rinjani. It's what the mountain made of. So it's twice harder for some people to summit bcs the pebbles keeps rolling down as they climb. So leaving the exhausted one behind are the safest choice
