After over a week of American journalist Shelly Kittleson being kidnapped by Islamists in Iraq, she has been released. During her captivity Ilhan Omar, Ro Khanna, AOC, Rashida Tlaib, Chris Murphy, and the rest of the useful idiots did not say a word. Not a single word.

The claim that Iran "won" is completely detached from reality, as is the claim that the U.S. "caved". Nothing has been agreed to. This is a temporary ceasefire that is highly unlikely to go anywhere. The U.S. will never agree to what Iran is demanding and Iran can never accept what the U.S. is demanding. There is no foreseeable way to actually end the conflict. The Gulf states must get involved militarily and join Israel and the U.S. if/when round 2 starts. If boots are needed on the ground to seize the buried uranium and Kharg Island, it cannot just be the U.S. that puts soldiers on the ground. Israel and the Gulf states must participate by sending in some of their own forces — even if it's for an entirely different mission.

In conclusion if the only outcome is the regime not getting a nuclear weapon, then for America the outcome is satisfactory and worth the trouble. Iran has ballistic missile that can reach Paris. We can’t allow them to be unhinged and nuclear equipped, unless we want another North Korea who was allowed to get a Nuke and can now hold the region hostage if it wants. Unlike NK, the regime is commanded by zealots. That’s a risk that is unacceptable to the west. That’s my half smart opinion. I’m sure others will opine with more clarity.

I’m not politically or militarily intelligent - so looking for some ppl who follow me who are (not just random unintelligent comments), to tell me how any of this is even close to successful (if that’s even the right term) if in the end the following don’t happen: 1) Regime Change - freeing the Iranian ppl from the lives of oppression they are living? 2) Elimination of all nuclear material & capabilities - freeing the world of that threat by regime? 3) Something changes with the Strait that wasn’t in place before? Please, just ppl who are well versed in these things so I can become more intelligent!
