Then the others need to commit to endorsing and backing the candidate. No more Betsy or Woodridge BS. To the candidates: Set your ego's aside and do what's right for our state. Oregon has $138 million in emergency funds and $2.9 billion in the Rainy Day Fund. Other states are already moving to protect their residents during the federal shutdown. This isn’t partisan — it’s about people. The money is there. The need is now. Please release Oregon’s emergency funds for this emergency.

Today I met with Teresa Hunt and her team at the Asher Clinic in Fossil. I learned more about the important work being done at the facilities in Mitchell and Spray. Together, these clinics do an excellent job serving all of Wheeler County. We had a great discussion about the actual facts regarding the One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBB) and how these facilities will not be impacted. Thank you to all the staff for all the great work they provide!
