Watching 2019 The Game, and you know who doesn't get enough love in Ohio State circles? JK Dobbins. Yeah, he's the second leading rusher in school history, but I don't see a lot of people putting him up there with Archie and Eddie and Zeke when talking about the best backs in school history. #CFB2025 #JKAllDay

A shoutout to this dude. Jimmy is a ground up promoter who gives bit of his heart on behalf of a fighter. I saw him talking up @JamaineOrtizR and boosting him and believing in him at @BoxlabPromotion 11-1 show and staying there for the whole weigh in, etc. Salute to that OG energy from @CESBoxing boss

@cffmwachsman 6 losing teams on a Tuesday night sounds terrible. But usually make for some of the more entertaining games

@cffmwachsman The most surprising one on here is that Florida State has yet to get an interception. They did defend against Florida State and DJ U for 4/4 right?!

The last time Boston College won in Tallahassee was 2008 -- "The Dark Knight" was the top grossing film and Flo-Rida was still relevant in the music biz. #CFB2024 #EarnIt

Just watched the Netflix doc on Connor Stalions, and it was definitely interesting, though not a whole lot of new stuff for people who have been following this from the beginning. A few things of note: * I don't believe Stalions actions were the sole reason Michigan improved and won the national title. Jim Harbaugh shook up the coaching staff and changed philosophy a bit, and that more than anything made the Wolverines lethal. That said, to say Stalions' actions had zero or minimal bearing is just silly. Why do it if it doesn't pay dividends? * I will hand it to Stalions -- he seems like a bright guy, dedicated, and definitely sticks to his narrative. Even with the NCAA having documents that he did what was alleged, he denies it or says he doesn't recall doing it. * Not surprising Dave Portnoy likes a guy who uses underhanded means to help his team win. * Whether or not you believe the in-person advance scouting rule is dumb -- and I lean toward thinking it is -- it is still a rule, and as such something that needs to be adhered to. As I said above, if it doesn't help, then why do it? Especially if you're as good as you say you are at decoding signs from game film and TV copies. * Lastly, it is interesting that the Ohio State beat has covered this story better and more accurately than the folks in the Michigan stratosphere have. One would think that those closest to the story could do the best job, but that has not been the case at all. I do believe penalties are coming, though in what form I am not certain. If I had to guess, it would be monetary, with scholarship reductions and a possible suspension for Sherrone Moore. Could games be vacated? Sure. But what does that really do? Fans saw the games and know how they turned out. Does anyone at Ohio State really believe the 1998-99 basketball team didn't make the Final Four? In closing, for those who are only peripherally familiar with what was alleged to have gone on at Michigan, this doc will be an eye-opener. For those who have been following from the start, it won't unearth much that's new, but will confirm a few things. #CFB2024 #GoBlue @TheSG_Podcast @JBook_37 @ChaseDisPaper1 @BuckeyesNetwork @JakeCrain_ @ChipMinnich @Menace2Sports @MPFB_Prediction @247Wolverine @mcillecesports @AlwaysTalkBall @ChappyCFB @_PatSullivan_ @TNTCollegeFoot1 @fbintheboot @tscheine

@cffmwachsman Is Connor Stalions still there? If so, I can see them being in the top ten. Or did he move to LA too?

So for folks who have Michigan in their top 10 for next season -- what is it that you're seeing? The offense will be almost completely new (including a rebuilt OL), and the defense, while strong up front, will also have to plug in a lot of new pieces. Throw in a schedule (home to Fresno State/Texas/USC/Oregon, away at Washington/Ohio State) that isn't the easiest and it could be a tough year for the Wolverines. Many see 9-3 as the floor -- isn't that more likely the ceiling? Not trying to be an agitator, genuinely curious. Good hires at OC and DC could provide more optimism from me, but at this moment I'm not seeing it. Give me reasons why Michigan could contend in the new-look Big Ten in 2024. #CFB2024 #GoBlue #QuestionsInAnnArbor #MichiganFootball

@MichaelParente @Yankees It’s cool. The Red Sox haven’t changed their food rotation in decades. And still don’t spend on talent. Maybe the sox and Yankees can fight over Zack Greinke
