Today we completed a full circle of care for one of our patients. A t.crit IPATS t/f into #PICU @CHI_Ireland followed 6/7 later by a t/f to @KingsCollegeNHS with @IrishAirCorps & finally via our Repat team back to @CUH_Cork to finish recovery. Right care, time & place @HSELive

Prehospital sedation needs to be done with same standards as in hospital. Practitioners need to be experienced, with documented evidence of competence in airway management, and haemodynamic management. Safety cannot be compromised. Even ketamine isn’t always the ‘safe’ option
