@ArmedJ0y I resonate with this hard. I just want to help spread the ideals of people living as they wish, community, and liberty from gov. Edgelords of either side of the spectrum make that REALLY fucking hard due to the image projected to those who may be willing to try these ideals

Rare popping back into a scene I long since abandoned due to how pathetic and lost everyone involved appears to be. Modern internet libertarianism has been reduced to 4 character classes: 1. Podcaster bro attention whores with a wildly exaggerated sense of importance. 2. Absolutely bizarre internet creatures with no social skills whatsoever pontificating on Current Thing social events. 3. Dudes who think screaming racial slurs in a park is some profoundly revolutionary act that will save the country. 4. Hug-box tumblrite culture warriors who spend their whole lives online tone policing normal people over anything and everything. Either apropos of nothing, or existing solely as a useless reaction to 3 I go back to this every few years because it only gets more true over time: The "libertarianism" that I was introduced to in the 2000's was not online, and was exclusively through activists in real life. Not e-activists, real people on the streets doing stuff, proving their worldview and perspectives through action. I didn't even see the Party side or any online shit till well into 2020. This lingering feeling towards the many positive interactions I had with these folks, and the tangible results of their actions, is what kept me from being as dismissive of them as a movement as I am of literally every other ideological camp. But that is long, long dead lol. I struggle to think of more than a handful of actual activists, not microphone jockeys and Twitter trolls, that even exist anymore. And most of them have equal disgust for what that crowd has become.

@ArmedJ0y I'm telling you man, come check us out in NH. Most of us don't really interact with the Project itself. While a lot still vote for eachother, the biggest thing we have is the community. We have like five clubhouses now, about twenty reps, and a senator.

One of my top priorities coming into office was to make it clear that the LNC will adhere to the platform and determine who we will associate with based on those grounds.” Language from the Motion to Disaffiliate LPNH The bylaws are clear that affiliate Parties shall not endorse the candidate of another Party. Despite this, the Libertarian Party of New Hampshire openly and publicly endorsed President Trump during the election in 2024. Furthermore, they have crudely and repeatedly undermined our own candidates and have espoused numerous anti-libertarian positions on a National level. Be it Resolved that because of these reasons and more, the Libertarian National Committee moves to disaffiliate the Libertarian Party of New Hampshire, mandating that they cease and desist the use of the Party name and logo, until such a time as the LNC recognizes a new affiliate in New Hampshire that shares our Party’s foundational values.

If you're sick of @LPNational pretending to care about liberty while, instead, pushing lockdowns and bureaucracy and soft socialism, stop giving to them. Take whatever you were going to donate and send it to @LPNH. The last, best hope for liberty in at least one small corner of the States.

LPNH being disaffiliated is long overdue. They hijacked the label for personal agendas and culture war nonsense that has driven people away from libertarianism for years. Hope the fallout is minimal and new blood builds something that actually cares about electing libertarians
