@investandcreate @RandBusiness Recently changed jobs and work from home full-time in Brentwood. Can’t find a coffee shop that’s quiet enough to work in. Most are slammed at all hours. Have wondered this same thing.

@RandBusiness The ones I goto in Nashville and Franklin / Brentwood are as busy as can be. It’s all neighborhood dependent and about location of course.

Can someone explain the economics of walk in coffee shops to me? Specifically not big franchises or chains. I work from these places fairly frequently, and rarely ever see a place I’d assume is doing well financially. Feels like they get one customer paying $5-$20 every 15-20 minute, if that. Theres a small spike in the morning and lunch, but after that it’s dead.
