@ak_hiker @CameronCM1145 @NEWSMAX “Charles made a baseless attempt to claim England saved America from the French.” It’s okay, this was light banter. Describing the burning down of the White House as “real estate development” was also not meant to be taken literally

@CameronCM1145 @NEWSMAX There's nothing anywhere about "shaping foundations" Charles made a baseless attempt to claim England saved America from the French. Nothing more, nothing less Fact remains, US rescued England every time they asked. The one time we asked them to stand as an ally, they cowered

@ak_hiker @NEWSMAX “The one time we asked England to step up as an ally, they refused.” Excuse me? Then what were 636 of us doing falling dead for you in Iraq and Afghanistan?

@NEWSMAX Ridiculous nonsense The US saved England from losing TWO world wars The French and Indian war occurred before America even existed In fact, the one time we asked England to step up as an ally, they refused

@spectator Not another one of these articles. It’s the DOUBLE STANDARDS she’s commenting on. “I drink, that’s okay. You drink, and you’re fired.”

I’m sorry Hannah Spencer doesn’t like the smell. I suspect her fellow MPs aren’t too keen on the stench of semi-digested kale which emanates from the woman, either, but we have to put these minor inconveniences aside. She represents a party which sees no harm in legalising Class A drugs, but cavils at alcohol. And she does so because alcohol is enjoyed largely by people who don’t like the Greens. It is alcohol as a signifier which annoys her, not the state of being incapacitated by it. ✍️ Rod Liddle Article | spectator.com/article/why-ha…

@spikedonline As you very well know, given you might also accuse her of being lax on heroin, she is NOT temperant. This is motivated by the double standards of being able to drink on this job. Thought that would tick your political grievances, or can you not support when it’s wrapped in green?

There is nothing wrong with an MP enjoying a tipple during a late-night session in the Commons. Alcohol not only relieves stress – it promotes honesty and directness, too. The Greens’ Hannah Spencer is too puritanical to see its virtues, says Alec Marsh buff.ly/V4tWSnw

@AaronBastani But this street in Leeds has been pedestrianised since 1993?? Original poster is suggesting Leeds City Council was ‘woke’ in 1993? I don’t get this analysis

The arrogance of Alastair Campbell knows no bounds. The trans-pandering half-wit really believed he could take on the wise and wonderful JK Rowling in a war of words. When you come for the queen, you best not miss, says Julie Burchill buff.ly/P4TYGHP

This is where I and any sensible person should leave Johnathan Haidt. He had very good points to make but wishing for more state interference in parenting is the tipping point. Also a waste of resources as it cannot be policed. Haidt is now on the wrong side of the line and I always knew it was coming.

@theipaper She bought a house in 1992, it's likely increased in value by hundreds of thousands purely due to crazy house price inflation and she expects govt help for "hard-working people" like her. Benefiting from inflation that's priced most people out of owning a home is NOT HARD WORK!
