This was King Charles III finest hour. His address to Congress was witty, clever, cultured and touched the most important issues facing both our nations. Countless standing ovations and rounds of applause. The value of our monarchy is truly priceless. God Save the King 🇬🇧

Brilliant, bold and challenging address by King Charles to the U.S. Congress which was (very unusually!) united in regular standing ovations. The best speech of his life, right when his country needed him to step up and repair the Special Relationship. Bravo, Your Majesty! 🇬🇧 🇺🇸

@ak_hiker @NEWSMAX This is being taken far too literally. King Charles wasn’t making a serious historical claim that Britain “saved America from the French” as a factual, standalone statement. It was clearly rhetorical and tongue-in-cheek.

But if you look at the speed (in the top right) and how quickly it drops a 0:48 seconds, he is clearly trying to stop the vehicle after obviously massively misjudging the stopping distance. I'm just astounded by how terrible the driving was.

A lot of voters from that wing have shifted, so it’s more about giving that outlook a clearer voice.

Investors back environments they expect to be stable and profitable, so I don’t think it’s unreasonable to see that as a positive signal.
