Why is @mybmc not doing anything about the shitty air that we are breathing?!
Almost all construction sites are showing wrong AQI, BMC cleaning staff is using a broom to clean the streets which is adding more dust. Give them advanced machines to clean the streets with so much money you have @mybmc.
Mumbai has so many rich and powerful people it’s a shame they are not speaking up. Any other country and ppl would be out on the streets.

Meanwhile, talentless Amruta Fadnavis repeatedly gets high profile platforms to perform, just because she is wife of Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis.
How is this not nepotism?

From Film Companion to festival panels, the pattern is fixed:
Films questioning the Indian state = “brave”, “nuanced”, “important”.
Films asserting Indian power like Uri, Kashmir Files, Kerala Story, Dhurandhar suddenly become “triumphalist”, “provocative”, “agenda driven”.
Same critic. Same platform. Same verdict year after year.
This isn’t evolving taste.
It’s gatekeeping nationalism through elite liberal morality, where patriotism must apologise and power must feel guilty to be considered “good cinema”.
That’s not criticism.
That’s narrative control disguised as sophistication.
