It's also heartening to see how widespread the anti-war sentiment is compared to the Bush years.

I truly think this world is a sprawling melodrama with an ensemble cast playing out for the entertainment of people in Heaven and certain viewers are such superfans that they volunteer to enter the show as characters with their memories wiped. Some maybe more than once, not sure.
