Sometimes, I think it is hard to stream 'particular' games on stream and that is because some games can have a very steep learning curve. In that to really know what's going on, it would take a lot of explaining. Not bad at first but then consider the fanbase is similarly hardcore about the game. Then, a divide can happen. Consider a new watcher or a normal watcher that doesn't know about that game. It just makes those people feel clueless and left out because in order to know what is going on they need a small encyclopedia's worth of knowledge and that just can't happen over the course of a stream. The hardcore chat and streamer will inevitably use lingo that others don't know and it just leaves them feeling lost. On top of that, the hardcore fans will inevitably pester chat and the streamer to play that game again. On and on and on. "We could be playing X" or "When's the next X stream?" or similar stuff. And it might seem easy to just not play that game on stream but you like it, you know it and you enjoy playing it. And by playing it you will gain some hardcore watchers that relate. Realistically, I would consider sequestering that game to a set time, once a week or once a month and it would be a guarantee that that game is played then. Just something to sate that crowd so they always know when it is happening and everyone else can safely ignore it. And if you don't do that just think about this. As the streamer, just accept the fact that some people will not like the game and use humor to deal with it. You know what you like and all that. As chat, well that's more difficult, just know that the streamer is happy, ask questions about the game, I am sure the streamer would like to explain things. Umm, just be curteous. That's all for my long winded ramble, Lol, to nobody (to myself actually, I can't stream the same game forever)
