Here are two tautologies being used as weak fronts for a Question-Begging Fallacy. There's no evidence that anything was "created" at all (the 1st Law of Thermodynamics would imply just the opposite, in fact), and there's no evidence of intelligent design in the universe.
Scotty Pierson 🏈🔴⚪️⚫️@ScottyPSkers

@McClureShawn Creation demands a Creator. Design demands a designer. If you can't acknowledge that then we can't move forward.

This has been a long time coming. This documentary from 2010 presaged the splitting of society along religious lines, similar to that seen in Northern Ireland. There was an opportunity to remove the whole idea of state funded "Faith Schools" but it was missed. The argument was that the schools would have to be closed, but that was misleading. They did not have to be closed, they just had to stop admitting children based on the religion of their parents. Please. Now we have a new opportunity. Make schools which receive state funding secular. This will encourage mixing of children and parents, and stop this anti science and anti English environment. Those who do not want their children to be taught that salt water and fresh water do actually mix can go to a country where the teachers believe that. youtu.be/ONx9eo3v_NY

The United Kingdom is in a sinister, censorious state. I was invited to an interview with the police for the first time in 2017 for saying it’s wrong to castrate a 16 year old. Over the last few years, I’ve had a visit from the police for being “untoward about paedophiles”, been arrested for organising an outdoor political gathering during lockdown, and made a couple more trips to the police station for my speech. My primary role in life is that of a mother; I see this country through the lens of what we leave for our children. Yesterday, whilst in a taxi after listening to the extraordinary Noa Argamani speak, I saw an email from my son’s college. (In the UK, college/sixth form is compulsory for 16–18-year-olds.) The email was a sinister and viciously authoritarian punishment for wrongthink and speech. Had my son said women have penises and should be able to share rape crisis centres with other women, he would have been fine. He would not have been accused of being ideologically abhorrent (in writing) and given a permanent record to take with him into university or an apprenticeship. We, the adults, have created this environment for our children, and it is incumbent upon us to fight to stop it. These battles are high risk for our children; speaking freely can cost them friendships and opportunities. You must ensure your child is not suffering the harms of our societal neglect. There will be consequences for adults who think they can bully my son. Maybe they haven’t heard, but, especially when it comes to my children … I never lose.

Christopher Hitchens: ”In 1786, when the United States was barely a country, it was having its sailors taken as slaves by the Barbary states, the states of the Ottoman Empire and North Africa. Tripoli, shores of Tripoli. Ships stopped, its crews carried off into slavery. We estimate 1.5 million European and American slaves taken between 1750 and 1815. Jefferson and Adams went to their ambassador in London and said, why do you do this to us? The United States has never had a quarrel with the Muslim world of any kind. We weren't in the crusades. We weren't at war with Spain. Why do you do this to our people and our ships? Why do you plunder and enslave our people? The ambassador said very plainly, Mr. Abdul Rahman said, because the Quran gives us permission to do so, because you are infidels, and that's our answer. Jefferson said, well, in that case, I will send a navy which will crush your state, which he did. Islamic fundamentalism is not created by American democracy. It's a lie to say so. It's a masochistic lie, and it excuses those who are the real criminals, and blames us for the attacks made upon us.”

If the Batley Grammar School teacher wishes to return to teaching, a Restore Britain Government would offer them a safe post with comprehensive protection. Regardless - there would be a full apology, legal support, and proper compensation. We would face down the Islamist mob.

I know it's tempting to invent an agent who goes around creating universes and setting parameters. This is a deeply primitive instinct in some folk's minds. It's easy, it's comforting and requires little thought. But consider other theistic claims, they have been whittled away over the recent past, has any scientific claim been replaced by a theistic one ? No, the need to posit and believe in gods is fading, and even this kind of argument you are making is rendered empty by just saying, "I don't know and neither do you". God of the gaps is a fallacy.

There is no proof that a creator exists. If you convince yourself there is evidence for one, you risk losing sight of a simpler reality: there is no need to posit a creator at all. And even if you insist on one, the question doesn’t go away—it just moves back a step: where did that creator come from?

This is how it’s done straight to the point, no fancy lights, no fireworks, no panto performances just raw focus and real action. No distractions, no theatrics, no wasting time on show. We have plenty of time to enjoy, sing, laugh, and celebrate life properly once our country is safe again borders secure, streets calm, future protected. Until then, it’s work, grit, and results. Let’s get it done. @RestoreBritain_ @RupertLowe10

Do you accept that time is passing ? The phrase "always existed" relies on this to be true. In other words, the universe seems to have existed for as long as time has been passing. This is because spacetime is a condition in which space and time are linked together. You may believe that there was (whatever "was" means in this context), "something" "before" time began, but in the way we use words, time has always existed, it may well have begun at t=0, when inflation initiated. It may help you to grasp this if you think of time as today. It started at midnight. Then continued from there in a measurable fashion. We are still in that "day", which appears to be continuing and we can see the past, using the cosmic microwave background, which is an echo of the "big bang". No, I don't have any faith, I certainly hope not. Faith is not useful if you actually care about the truth of your beliefs. I understand that not everyone does, it looks like you are one of those. I enjoy changing what I accept as true when new information comes along. "Faith" allows one to hold contradictory positions and so is not a good thing at all.

This is old guys. Scientists have long ago created life from non life in the lab. That is, they took off the shelf chemicals and using a computer program to assemble DNA, made a self replicating organism. This is a process which shows what we already know, when we eat and breathe in, we turn nonliving into living material. Nature self organises. Now the real question is, do you care if your beliefs are true ? If you are religiously indoctrinated, you may find it very difficult to free yourself from that.

I asked about your evolution delusion bro... and you ran from it like a coward.. I already knew your abiogenesis delusion never happened. But i love how you admit Evolution and abiogenesis are the same. See you are learning the truth. GOOD BOY!!! Yes I require physical evidence when you clam naturalism. i don't claim that delusion YOU DO and you cant back up your claims with physical evidence... Hilarious bro... Its scary how ignorant you truly are nbro 🤦‍♂️👍🙏

How do you know the universe has not always existed ? In other words an eternal universe. The fact that things exist has nothing to do with a god. Remember the primitives who invented most of the world's religions did not even know there were other planets, or what the lights in the sky were. Sadly you have been captured by a blood sacrifice cult. If you had been born in another time and place you would believe in the local gods, equally fervently as you believe in the one you have been exposed to.

No it doesn't. Energy is converted into mass. It may help you to think of another transferable quantity. Gravitational potential energy. Think of a pen on your table. It has energy in various forms. If you lift it in the Earth's gravitational field, that kind of energy increases. It didn't "come from" anywhere in the "magic" sense, it is a property of the pen, and increases in value because its position in the field changed, you put the energy in to move it. You can get that energy back by dropping the pen and some will now be converted into kinetic, heat and sound energy. In any case, if this is your goal, inventing an agent such as a god to explain nature is called the god of the gaps fallacy. It does no work.

Abiogenesis is just the idea, origin of life processes, not specifically the mechanism. Just as biological diversity is the idea, and natural selection is the mechanism. Actually is is highly relevant, the egg is a large cell, and cells are vital (pardon the pun) in the development of life.

@_Science_FTW_ @EvanGor93154017 @DivinelyDesined We all get indoctrinated with these THEORIES in high school and college. Try not to be condescending. Insects lay eggs, it’s not really relevant, it’s just a common trait. A cow gives live birth but not to humans. Let me know when abiogenesis is proven to be the origin of life.

Cell Division is proof of Intelligent Creation. One missing part, and the whole system fails. Gradual steps cannot build it, because the system doesn't work unless all the parts exist at the start, and modification = destruction. This is incomprehensibly masterful engineering.

We have this well supported theory of energy-matter equivalence. Most folk have heard of it E=mc^2 This establishes that mass is a form of energy. So it's not a case of "just formed". Mass can form from Energy in the right circumstances and also go the other way. You can find some good YT videos which will explain it further.
