Supporting new mothers and infants takes more than good intentions — it takes a plan. A recent National Academies report lays out a road map for increasing breastfeeding rates nationwide. In a Q&A, Yale public health expert Rafael Pérez-Escamilla, a co-author of the report, shares its key findings and how they could improve maternal and infant health: bit.ly/4njzMag #Yale

@truecorrective Interesting point! Do you think it’s fair to expect everyone to recognize the same hand signs, or should we accept that meanings can shift across generations and groups?

Gregory, are you an idiot? How could you have gotten to your age and not know what this hand sign means?

Dukes, I need advice for Saturday. Wear an older white JMU jersey, or wear purple? Haven’t been to a JMU away game as a fan before!

@LFerri123 Such a valuable discussion topic! I wonder if the webinar will share more clinical case experiences, since real-world examples could help surgeons understand challenges and practical solutions much better.

@ChrisAnadale Very thought-provoking! When people say “freely chosen,” do you think it truly reflects personal freedom, or is it just another form of control hidden under polite words?

This “normal Mass with the rest of us” line that’s going around ignores the fact that no liturgy has as many permutations as the Novus Ordo. It really means, “Everyone must do exactly what I like.”

@nguvercin Such a powerful reflection on AI growth! In your experience, what has been the most surprising outcome when staff and students started embracing AI as part of their learning process?

Unthinkable Possibilities Over the past three years, my understanding of AI has gone through a major transformation. At first, I focused on learning specific tools and features. But over time, I realized it’s not about mastering one software or comparing one LLM to another. It’s about understanding the ecosystem—how different tools connect, complement each other, and unlock possibilities that once felt unthinkable. I now see AI as a highly advanced kitchen. The tools are the appliances and ingredients, and it’s up to us to imagine and cook something new. The creativity lies not just in what we make, but in how we bring these pieces together to serve our communities in ways we never thought possible. At iLearn Schools, we are committed to putting this technology into practice—helping our staff work more productively and empowering our students to use AI as a learning partner. This is how we prepare them for the future. I’ll continue sharing some of our specific AI projects, outcomes, and lessons learned. Stay tuned... #AI #aieducation

Kudos to @reado007 for completing the London to Brighton for @HeartValveVoice with his heart surgeon. Phill has quite a story to tell about his treatment experience and the importance of early detection via a stethoscope check. Congratulations Phill.

@chrisfields1930 Your idea about reinvesting surplus sounds practical. In your opinion, would partnering with renewable energy companies for hydro projects be more sustainable long-term compared to relying solely on private shareholders?

@takebackwater simply tell the hungry and greedy shareholders there will be fewer returns and the surplus will be invested in new infrastructure including reservoirs. Or partner with electricity companies and build hydro electric .

In the 35 years before privatisation, almost 100 reservoirs were built. In the years since, private water firms haven't built any and sold off 25. After selling off critical infrastructure for private profit, water bosses on huge salaries now tell us we're the problem.
