@_Singh_chloe Characterizing metabolism gives us many new targets for treatment. Many machines have the basics for spectroscopy, but this would have to be expanded for clinical use. The good news is the technology is already available.

@DavidSBaskin1 Very interesting are there particular tumor types where MRI spectroscopy has shown the most promise so far?Do you see this technique moving into more routine clinical use soon, or is it still primarily research-focused?

I am very excited about our new technology, oncomagnetics, which is a new non-invasive way to treat glioblastoma. This also appears to work in other cancers. Imagine cancer treatment with less or no chemotherapy or radiation. This is a future possibility! youtu.be/747aIVgi8MU

It was an honor to be a judge & plenary speaker for this Neuroscience symposium. Brilliant students with incredible projects competed for prizes. There were wonderful speakers from Hawaii. Dean Shoemaker from the Medical school was also a participant & supportive of the efforts.

Got home yesterday from having a pituitary adenoma removed by @DavidSBaskin1 and his team, including Dr. Matthew Goldman during my time in the NICU at @HmethodistMD with @HMHNeurology. I can't say enough good about the quality of care of those two doctors, every nurse and worker in the NICU, or anyone. Damon, Marcus, George, LiLi and others that I can't remember their names. All of them did an amazing job taking care of me. Did all they could to manage my pain, ensure I had the best outcome possible, and stayed on top of every concern for my health. It was a honor to be a judge at the Neuroscience symposium competition in Kaneohe Hawaii. Hawaii Medical students submitted 40 different abstracts! Governor Josh Green, MD, to my left participated. He is a fantastic human being with great compassion for all Hawaiians.
