Since South African media houses are not interested in uncovering the whole truth, let me ask those who were at the march these pertinent questions, enough time has passed: 1. What’s the name of the man who was allegedly stabbed? 2. How was he stabbed? 3. Why did he hide his face when he showed the crowd his stab wound? 4. Where were these Nigerians when they stabbed him since everyone was “hunting” them? 5. Did the crowd actually encounter these Nigerians? 6. Was it Nigerians, Somalians or Ethiopians? 5. What’s the name of the person who was allegedly hit by a car? 6. What is the registration number of the car that hit him? 7. What did the marchers do when they witnessed a car hitting someone? 8. How did the marchers know that the car was driven by a foreigner? 9. Why have none of the two opened a case? I’d appreciate some answers in the name of a holistic picture & not sensationalism.

@Phumla_N Khululeka ke seeing that they’re South Africans, even if they get a death sentence I would care less. However, I’m more interested on who are they working for as the are mules. It has been proven many times that SA women who get arrested for drug trafficking work for Nigerians.

MEDIA STATEMENT FOREIGN NATIONAL CONVICTED FOR ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF EXPLOSIVES In the quest to combat cash-in-transit and robberies with aggravating circumstances, the members of Serious Organised Crime Investigation based in Polokwane secured a seven years direct imprisonment sentence handed down to (35) Guezane Matseque a foreign national by the Modimolle Regional court for illegal possession of explosives and being an illegal immigrant. The sentence emanates from an incident that occurred on 01 June 2025 when the members of the Waterbury Flying squad stopped a taxi near the Kranskop plaza in order to search it. During the search, the police found a brown bag in the taxi which was found to be containing explosives. Following the enquiries of ownership, the culprit was pointed out. Inside the bag, 500 detonator caps, 4 reels of detonator cord and 4 V6 explosives were found. The suspect was arrested and the case was referred to the Polokwane SOCI for further investigation which resulted in the sentence. He was sentenced yesterday, 31 March 2026 to seven years for illegal possession of explosives and twelve months imprisonment for being illegal in the country both sentences are to run concurrently.

FOREIGN NATIONAL ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION OF ILLEGAL DRUGS A 49-year-old suspect will be appearing in the Randburg Magistrate’s Court tomorrow, 02 April 2026 following his arrest on 31 March 2026 after being found in possession of R3million worth of illegal drugs. In a joint effort by the East Rand Serious Organised Crime Investigation assisted by the Police Emergency Services Flexi shift, Crime Intelligence Gathering and Tshwane K9 arrested a foreign national in Morningside in Sandton. It is reported that the multi-disciplinary team followed up information received and observed the vehicle as described. The suspect was stopped and search together with his vehicle wherein suspected Chrystal meth was found on the passenger seat. The suspect was then taken to his residence where he further granted permission for a search. The search resulted in more drugs were found and he was subsequently arrested for dealing in drugs. Exhibits worth an estimated R3 million were confiscated which included a VW Tiguan, crystal meth and heroine. The suspect is to appear in the Randburg Magistrate court on Thursday, 02 April 2026 facing charges of dealing in illegal drugs for first appearance. The Provincial Head of Gauteng Hawks, Major General Ebrahim Kadwa applauded the grand efforts by the team and encouraged them to be steadfast in combatting proliferation of illegal drugs.

35-year-old Foreign National Sentenced to 7 Years Direct Imprisonment in Limpopo After Being Found in Possession of Explosives and Living in South Africa Illegally A 35-year-old foreign national, Guezane Matseque, has been sentenced to seven years’ direct imprisonment by the Modimolle Regional Court for illegal possession of explosives and being in South Africa unlawfully. The conviction forms part of efforts by authorities to combat cash-in-transit robberies and related serious crimes. The sentence follows an incident on 1 June 2025 when members of the Waterbury Flying Squad stopped and searched a taxi near Kranskop Plaza. During the search, police discovered a brown bag inside the vehicle containing explosives, prompting further investigation at the scene. Upon questioning passengers, the bag was linked to Matseque. Inside, police found 500 detonator caps, four reels of detonator cord, and four V6 explosives. He was immediately arrested, and the case was later handed to the Polokwane Serious Organised Crime Investigation unit for further handling. Matseque was sentenced on 31 March 2026 to seven years for illegal possession of explosives and an additional 12 months for being in the country illegally. The court ordered that both sentences run concurrently, resulting in an effective seven-year prison term.
