@jtimsuggs If anyone is watching the series for the first time in that order, there are other bigger surprise reveals that are totally ruined by the prequels.

One of my favorite aspects of the Prequel Trilogy is still how George Lucas chose to never actually show what a jump to lightspeed looks like from the interior of a ship in any of those films.
It’s an iconic visual that was left to be a surprise reveal for those experiencing the Original Trilogy for the first time.

Awful news about Rob Reiner and his wife Michele. Reiner directed some of the defining movies of the 80s and 90s, and formed much of this young film geek’s viewing choices over the years. A terrible loss. RIP.
