I see some people upset about creators "lying" to them about @ChronoOdyssey. From the beginning I've said this - I love the canvas, think it has big potential, but it lacks polish and has way too many issues/bugs. My words verbatim in my review on YT: "it feels like a wannabe Triple-A game developed by an indie studio, that does actually have the chance to be a Triple-A game but currently lacks the polish of being one. If this was an alpha or early beta i'd say it's pretty good. If it's what we're going into launch with then honestly, we're in some serious trouble". I stand by this (22:51 time stamp in my full honest review video). The version you're playing is what we saw in February being confirmed to be their finished end-year 2024 build. A lot of us were excited about the potential of the game because in our minds this game had a full year to cook and polish. I'm remaining optimistic until i see this "updated build" so I have a point of reference when it comes to development progression speed because as far as I see it, I'm playing their last year version still. I'm excited about the game, love the canvas, see a ton of potential, lowkey got addicted to the game when playing, and hoping the bugs/polish is addressed. If the "updated" build comes out and sucks, it will for sure kill my excitement with the game and I'll probably be in the praygeaion2isgood room, which doesn't sound like a great room to be in, but hey, when has it ever as an MMO andy right? Edit: To be clear, not a big fan of them showcasing this build and not a stable version of the next. I also thought the recent trailer (which seems to be their new build) dropping right before THIS beta was misleading to a lot of people...assuming, of course, that build exists
