To catch up to what communism achieved, the U.S. would need to kill another 1,320,000 people every year for the next 75 years. The US is killing at about 26.6x slower than communism did. Hysterically, the operatives who hate my reporting on the Karmelo Anthony and Nolan Wells cases have now shifted the goalposts. Since I don’t use race in my reporting (except when it’s relevant for identification or descriptions) and simply stick to the facts, many no longer claim it’s “blatant racism.” Now, apparently, the problem is my “tone.” It’s funny how the accusations change when the reporting doesn’t. @davidu @camhigby Maybe. It’s not a story I can verify. It’s one that was told to me by a client. There was that woman who was served a warrant for stealing a package off a porch though, even though it wasn’t her. That one has been widely reported on & is verifiable.

I don’t believe you. If you had billions of dollars, you’d know what it takes to make billions of dollars. You’d also know Bezos & Elon don’t have billions of dollars just lying around. They have assets whose combined value amounts to billions of dollars. If they sold it all off to feed & house everyone, they could do that for about 2 years, maybe 3. Then they would completely run out of money & all their assets/investments would be gone, generating no new money to help anyone with. They help more people than you currently do, & help more people than you ever could with the mindset you have. It sounds nice, but it’s divorced from reality.

I genuinely don't understand people like Bezos and Musk. If I had billions of dollars, I would just start fixing everything. Homeless veterans sleeping on the streets? Not on my watch. Hungry children going to bed with empty stomachs? Hell no. They could be making life better but instead choose to build spaceships and data centers to pump stocks and destroy the planet

I think what Flock is marketed as, and what some Law Enforcement Departments are using it for, are two different things. I don’t hate the concept of Flock cameras, but I’ve seen the police use them poorly. I’ve heard the stories of overreach. I’m all for civil disobedience in protest of the way those cameras are being used.

To be clear, I literally could not care less about Flock as a corporation. I’m not “Pro-Flock” I don’t believe that any person is entitled to privacy in public. Many of the people who talk the most about this, built their careers by filming in public without or against consent.
