a word of advice to the newgen mtgo grinders: spamming and grinding will yield significantly diminishing returns after a certain point, try to be aware of how you feel and start spending time on other aspects of making it (eg. health, paper, fitness, mindset)

@Brewers_Kitchen I play lindblum in every spellslinger deck, but the rest I barely register as existing.

Kinda wild how bad these turned out to be. I play Midgar in aristocrat-y decks, but even there it's mostly just a tapped land 🙄 Did anybody have more success with them?

@Belladina_GP 100% agree. I didn't get a bunch of product I wanted because I physically can't stand in lines to get in just to stand in line for merch that might sell out before I get there.

I know the logistics probably wouldn’t work but I wish that Magic Con would break their merch lines into separate things. It’s hard to convince myself to wait in a line for pins/patches/clothes that’s 4 hours long simply because I’m competing with people who want card product

Is there an up to date graphic or video on how to compete in magic professionally? I know the system has changed a lot over the years, but I want to get serious about improving at magic overall and not just my preferred formats.
