Exceptionally sooty Fabia vRS spotted this morning. The cloud of black soot it emitted when it accelerated away was staggering. But hey, at least it’s not a boring soulless EV eh?

After driving the Queen’s Jaaaag for the past 24 hours, I think it’s my new favourite car!!! There is such a feeling of specialness when you’re in it and more than that - it drives absolutely bloody fantastic! What a good car the 3.0 AWD X-Type was! I feel very lucky! 👑

After a disagreement with someone on YouTube where I had said that I can't remember a hatchback with a truly spectacular engine, and that hatches are never really about their engine, I'd love for someone to remind me of one that is. I'm talking properly spectacular, one of those 'best ever engines built' Also, important to remember I do love hot hatches *and* 4 cyls, and this isn't to say EVs are the answer, just that a fun hatch isn't reliant on an engine

British F-35 makes an emergency landing at Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram International Airport in India after running low on fuel. The fighter jet had taken off from an aircraft carrier and landed safely at approximately 9.30 pm. "The pilot reported low fuel and asked for permission to land. Everything was handled quickly and professionally. The aircraft remains parked at the airport, and refuelling will begin once the necessary approval is granted by government authorities," airport officials said.

I know I’ve said it before but I’ve never had such consistently good main dealer service as I have with @ListersGroup over the years, both with Mercedes-Benz & BMW alike. I have the 2022 & 2024 service missing from our E-Class and they are not showing on any of Mercedes online systems either 🤷‍♂️, spoke to the Mercedes main dealer where the vehicle was allegedly serviced (who are from a different group) and they confirmed it had been serviced both times but will not give me proof due to it being in the previous owners name, despite me proving my ownership and my identity. Not even a PDF or print out of what was done?!?! Called Listers as our E needs both an engine and possibly a gearbox service but we need proof to see what’s been done up to this point over the past 3 years. “Don’t worry Mr Hosier, give us the dealership details and we’ll see if they’ll deal with us, we will be back to you ASAP” Excellent service from one outfit but why do certain dealer groups make things so hard in the first place?

We have today parted company with Head Coach Tony Mowbray. Assistant Head Coach Mark Venus has also departed. The club would like to place on record its thanks to Tony and Mark for their efforts – but has made the decision to part company following a series of poor results.

There's nothing fantastic about all of these leaving after conceding in the last few mins
