It’s the fifth day of the UW-Madison pro-Palestine encampments. It appears to have thinned out throughout the week, but roughly 30 tents remain. Currently, two individuals were spotted leaving Bascom following a second meeting between organizers and Mnookin.

Recognizing that our institutions are there to protect and enable the powerful while crushing dissent and reform is valuable. It dispels a lot of the nonsense. And it highlights that democratic, collective action is the only way out.
