At its core, St Helen's, Barmby on the Marsh is a medieval structure. However, the character of this Yorkshire is largely provided by its later Georgian features. 1/6

I love to see buildings I've worked on in the past fully repaired. Was involved with St Helen's some 20+ years ago! Well done to those involved

NEWS: C20 has supported an application to list the majestic Norwich Sports Village, the only concrete shell structures in the UK to be designed by pioneering Swiss engineer Heinz Isler. Constructed 1987-88 in the Broadlands area of Norwich, the project was led by Copeland Associates, in collaboration with the Swiss architects Haus and Herd. Blackburn Beverley C.1, XB284, of 47 Sqn based at RAF Abingdon, 1957. At time of intro in March 1956, Beverley was largest aircraft ever operated by RAF. It became backbone of RAF tac transport during late 50s and early 60s. I flew Abingdon to Malta 1962. Very noisy

@CalumRaasay My local chilrens playground had a town council sign with rules that included 'no running'

I really, really miss this sign. Not because I don't want kids playing in the park on Sundays (fight the power kids!) but because it was just so wonderfully unique. Got taken away one day by the council, should have been preserved.
