Botto is the top-selling artist on SuperRare in the past year, second only to XCOPY, and it ranks number one in primary sales. If you believe as I do that tokenized art has a bright future and that Botto will maintain or grow its market share, then its future sales will be staggering. My thesis on tokenized art has remained unchanged for the past five years, even though the market has moved slower than I expected in recent times. The long-term trend is generational: the world is moving digital and it is only a matter of time before the largest collectors and capital allocators in the world are internet-natives and AI-natives. I expect that these collectors and allocators will still value physical art but they will also value digital art because they live and breathe digital and because tokenized, digital art is easier to discover, meme, authenticate, secure, and transfer. I expect that many of the world's top collectors will be people who made their wealth in AI or even AI agents or DAOs informed by AIs. I expect that some meaningful portion of capital created or governed by AI will be invested back into AI. Finally, I expect that this will include art, as historically the wealthy spend a lot on art, and I see no reason why this will change. Unlike most of today's "AI artists" which are humans that make art with the help of AI, Botto is an AI that makes art with the help of humans. It transcends any single human and is the purest instantiation of an AI artist among prominent digital artists, in my view. On a practical level, Botto is a market leader, it has a predictable supply, a simple and catchy name, and an army of stakeholders incentivized to grow and evangelize it thanks to its token economy. The Botto treasury has roughly $1M in liquid funds (ETH + USDC) and recently cut operating costs roughly in half effectively doubling its runway. As Botto grows more autonomous, these costs will be further reduced. Despite its depressed market cap, the Botto community remains committed and more active than many token projects that are an order of magnitude larger in valuation. For Botto to grow massively, it does not necessarily need to grow its market share. It simply needs to continue existing and not massively lose marketshare in a timeline where AI art is relevant and valued. I believe we live in that timeline. Botto is both a bet on digital art and a bet on AI. I'm bullish on both and thus I'm bullish on Botto.
