@RepFine Says the same guys who wants to kill all the "animals" in Gaza. You do know there's women and kids there too right? Of yeah, they're brown and they're Muslim, so they don't count.

@academic_la To be fair, every holy book has these kinds of passages. Only Israeli Zionists and Islamic extremists seem to act on them any more though. Not surprising in the slightest that those two entities are constantly at each other's necks.

The fact that we are committing genocide in Gaza, means Jews need to grapple not only with our current actions, but also the genocidal elements in our traditions which feed them: 1) Deuteronomy 7:1–2 On the Canaanites: "you must utterly destroy them. Make no covenant with them and show them no mercy." 2) Deuteronomy 20:16–17 On the Canaanites: "in the cities of these peoples… you shall save alive nothing that breathes." 3) Exodus 17:14–16 On the Amalekites: "I will utterly blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven." 4) Exodus 23:23–24, 27–33 On the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites, Jebusites: "I will blot them out." 5) Numbers 31:17–18 On the Midanites: "Kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman who has known man… but all the young girls who have not known man, keep alive for yourselves." 6) Deuteronomy 2:34 On the Amorites: "We devoted to destruction every city — men, women, and children; we left no survivor." 7) Deuteronomy 3:3–6 On Bashan: "We devoted them to destruction… sixty cities." 8) Deuteronomy 13:12–16 On Israelites who worshipped another god: "Put the inhabitants of that city to the sword, devoting it to destruction, all who are in it and its cattle." 9) 1 Samuel 22:18–19 On Israelite priests disliked for some reason: "Nob, the city of the priests, he put to the sword — both men and women, children and infants." 10) 1 Chronicles 4:41–43 The Meunites: "They destroyed them… and defeated the remnant of the Amalekites who had escaped." 11) Esther 9:5–16 Persians the Israelites did not like: "the Jews "struck all their enemies… seventy-five thousand." There are at least 44 instances of genocidal behavior referenced in the Hebrew Bible. It generally seems to be the preferred biblical method of dealing with enemies, especially weak and defeated ones. This is a legacy we, as Jews, have to come to grips with. Our religion commands genocide. We must rebuke this part of our traditions.

@PimpinOsama @abierkhatib And yet there are some 25,000 bodies of children that have been buried because Israeli soldiers killed them.

We introduced the Death Penalty for Child R*pists Act, because there is no other form of justice for this crime. There is nothing more despicable. This goes for the child brides being r*ped under the guise of religion. A child cannot consent. This is r*pe.

This is how the system operates when someone dares to call out the elite. Zarah Sultana MP 🇬🇧 speaks the plain truth on the floor of Parliament, and instead of answering for their actions, they silence and remove her. "Western civilization" preaches free speech to the world but suppresses it at home the moment it gets uncomfortable.

@StanleyCohenLaw 2/ While targeting people because of their faith, race, or ethnicity is never ok, I certainly think there are times when helping yourself is the best option. To ignorant people, silence is equivalent to tacit acceptance, whether we like it or not.

@StanleyCohenLaw 1/ 100% agree. I will say this though: We - being US Muslims writ large - haven't done enough to distance ourselves from the extremists everyone's being told to fear, and it's worked against us. Look at the US Jewish community; they make it CLEAR that they're not Zionists.

@academic_la My theory is that since Likud are politically weak - having to cede power to the Chabad Kabbalist Revisionist Zionist party - Netenyahu is attempting to stem the tide of religious extremism that's creeping into the IDF. He desperately wants to retain power.

New details on the attempts to appoint a new central commander for the IDF. It appears after seeing what is happening to Bluth, no one wants the job as it entails being the tool of the government and settlers with no independent authority: 1) Three months ago Chief of Staff, Eyal Zamir, summoned Dado Bar Kalifa and offered him Central CommandBar Kalifa didn't want it. He told Zamir he'd rather have Northern Command or Southern Command. 2) He concluded that Central Command has become a job "you can't walk out of on your own two feet." In other words, it will destroy you and your career due to all the politics involved. He would much rather command the Lebanon front or Gaza, active war zones, than police the West Bank. 3) Due to the mess, Zamir has now frozen all major general appointments until early 2027, citing tension on every front and a desire to keep the appointments cycle out of the election. Why is all this happening? Defense minister Katz is determined to control the IDF, in service of Netanyahu and is using promotions as his tool. The lesson every general is getting out of this is if you do anything to stop the settlers you are gone. The IDF is just their tool. No one will ever stand up to them again.

@TweeterReynolds 4/ had their own (non-Jewish) belief structure. Now while it IS Biblically true that every Jew would have been an Isrealite, or is NOT true that every Isrealite would have been a Jew, precisely because Jews were from the Tribe of Judah, which Israelis don't calm to be.

@TweeterReynolds 3/ The Tribe of Judah accepted the Tanakh (the Hebrew Bible), whereas the Samaritans (Israelites) followed the Samaritan Pentateuch. Israelis claim to ALL be descendants of Jacob (Israel), but also claim to be Jews, which is impossible in a Biblical sense, since the Israelites

Israel is historical fiction. The idea comes from the Bible, the most successful work of fiction ever, and the story of a people called the Israelites, named after their ancestor who was called Israel or Jacob, the son of Isaac and grandson of Abraham. The legend developed and the name ‘Israel’ eventually came to refer to the people as a whole. The ‘Land of Israel’ is described as a promised homeland. That is all there is. It has as much basis in fact as the Hobbit, the Loch Ness monster, Robin Hood or Beowulf. peter-reynolds.co.uk/2025/09/16/wha…

@academic_la Precisely the kind of bad faith dealing that's had Palestinians balking at every "deal" since the Balfour Declaration. The playbook is the same: - Israel feigns peace - Palestinians agree - Israelis break peace - Palestinians respond - Israel cries victim - Israel changes terms

After meeting Netanyahu, the Board of Peace has gone back its demands that Israel withdraw from Gaza. Under the text published last week, the IDF withdrawal from the Yellow Line was to be gradual and parallel to Hamas disarmament. The Council now says Israel withdraws after disarmament is complete. The word "fully" was also removed. Therefore, the plan now calls for Hamas disarmament without IDF withdrawal. An absolute joke.

@MustafaBarghou1 I'm genuinely surprised that it's taken them this long to get around to this. Clearing the rubble and the hundreds of thousands of bodies within it, is the only long-term solution for them to avoid accountability. It's a gangland - "No face, no case" - tactic.

Israel Attempts to Conceal Evidence of Genocide Human rights organizations have warned that the Israeli occupation, with the participation of Israeli civilian companies, is carrying out a large-scale and systematic operation to remove and transport the rubble of neighborhoods and facilities it destroyed in the Gaza Strip from areas under its military control to locations outside the territory. The organizations say this is being done without publicly accounting for the amount of debris removed, without independent oversight, and before investigative committees have been allowed to examine the aftermath of what they describe as Israel’s genocide in the Gaza Strip.

@MarioNawfal 2/ He knows it's BS, but it's worked on everyone for a century, so hey - if it ain't broke, don't fix it, right? The problem is that the public has more access to information now, and can read and hear for themselves, that these talking points haven't changed.

We will have to confront it and overcome it." All you need to do is look at your actions over the past 4 years... there's your answer, not that complicated bro. Writer: Michael
