Plan to mortgage F-9 Park in Islbd for $500 billion is sick. Clearly, we cannot repay the loan. In the event the new owner will sell it to commercial developers. Will we sell Quaid-e-Azam's mazar next? Is anything sacred? Dont we have any values left?

@kaiserbengali 1. There are multiple investors in a Sukuk structure (not 1 owner).
2. Forget Sukuk, even absolute ownership can’t override land laws. The park in green zone can’t be sold to developers.
3. Asset based Sukuk is different than asset backed Sukuk.
