We should federally tax Tokens at the Provider level.
Not a lot. Less than 50c per million tokens.
It will accomplish 4 things (at least )
1. It will push the big AI players to optimize tokenization, caching , routing and localization
Which will
2. Reduce energy usage. Saving them in energy costs more than what they paid in tax and reducing strain created by the growth in energy consumption
Which will
3. Generate maybe 10 billion dollars a year to start, but over the next ten years could grow 30x to 100x
Which will
4. Create a source of funding to pay down the federal debt or deploy, in response to the things AI brings that we don’t expect or don’t like
At some point the models will pass it on to customers. Of course. That’s ok. Customers will have the ability to choose between providers. Or to do everything using open source models locally.

Kansas City full-circle moment:
J.C. Hall (Founder of Hallmark Cards) often visited Our Lady of Sorrows, where the crown above the altar inspired the Hallmark logo.
Years later, Hallmark artists created the original Royals logo, carrying that same crown influence forward.
Now Hallmark and the Royals may come together again, beside the church that helped inspire it all.

Interesting fact: Sneed played in more playoff games (13) with KC than he played in total games (12) with Tennessee. Also, only earned a little less than $6 mil with the Chiefs and got around $44 mil from the Titans.

Titans are releasing CB L'Jarius Sneed, which will save Tennessee $11.4 million against the cap, per sources. Titans informed Snead’s agents, the Katz Brothers, of their decision today; Sneed now will become a free agent.

NASA completed a wet dress rehearsal for the Artemis II mission in the early morning hours on Feb. 3. To allow teams to review data and conduct a second wet dress rehearsal, NASA will now target March as the the earliest possible launch opportunity for the Artemis II mission. go.nasa.gov/4ka7tKs

Love seeing these sports “journalists” getting ABSOLUTELY BURIED for being curmudgeon bums..
OBVIOUSLY NOT ALL OF THEM but a LARGE % of these things hate sports.. they hate what sports are for people (happiness).. They hate what sports are for society (unifier).. they’re political journalists by nature who’ve preyed on sports because they saw it as an easier path to “make it”
Their days are numbered.. my show being broadcasted on ESPN 10 hours a week with ZERO creative say from any “journalism school” puppets is living proof of that.. that’s why they attack me as much as possible.. I’m happy the world is starting to see what they truly are.
Now… We as a society have to stop taking these particular humans seriously. Their opinions and thoughts are coming from a place of wanting to destroy sports.
Sports are the greatest thing on Earth, these motherfuckers have no idea… and will never get it.
Also.. Thank you Lynn Jones for setting up a situation for me and all of us on how Liam Coen, a man who might be a 🐐 when he’s done, handles compliments during one of his most miserable moments. He handled it with class and humility.. feels like some journalism was actually done there.
