@mrandrewdickson It's not VAR that's the problem it's the officials that are 'using' the tech that is the issue. We have seen for the last three match days exactly what was called out when the split fixtures were released.

Have read lots here about last night and could disappear down the rabbit hole but will just say this for now: Scottish football is a laughing stock this morning, losing so much of the goodwill generated in recent weeks because we use a tinpot version of VAR not fit for purpose.

It’s not a penalty and the world knows it. There’s no debate to be had. It’s a header. The ref and VAR have, and not for the first time this season, had a major say in the outcome of a game. The world of football is laughing at us. As for the pictures that ‘conclusively show it struck the hand?’ Give me a break ffs. The pics circling, from the side where the hand is raised, will always look as if it struck the hand. It didn’t. I’ve attached pics, as an example, of how a picture can trick you into seeing something you want to see. So the pics circling can go in the bin. The issue here is Beaton and Dallas and how they gave a penalty decision from one view of the incident. It’s scandalous. Scottish football needs to unite and tell TEMU VAR to GTF.
