@MartinTale Yes definitely and I save a lot of mental energy. A component in react that I exactly know how to make I prompt AI specifically with code examples inside codebase and boom. Done in under a minute including integration and unit tests

Do you actually get more work done in AI era?

@alexcloudstar We will adapt. We still have to use our brains for debugging and understanding what AI is producing. Yes we will be different in 5 years but so will AI and the way we do things.

Hot take: GitHub Copilot is making developers lazy and stupid. We went from Googling solutions to copy-pasting AI code we don't understand. In 5 years, half the industry won't be able to debug without an AI assistant. This won't end well.

I need a filter so to NOT see any one uses the phrase “vibe code”.

@rand_longevity Depending on your lifestyle. Blood and other tests first to see what you’re lacking. For myself I have a bit of zinc and K2 since I follow a plant based lifestyle.

I go through the folder structure first. Libraries used. They way they do things. Reusable classes they have or any internal libraries. Then I focus on a few features and go through them and carefully study them to see how it’s done. I’ll look back on the PRs related to these feature implementations and see the review process and comments.
