.@amtrak that’s not right. i as a female solo traveler am not comfortable confronting 2 men. conductor should be willing to say something if asked. i’m not the only annoyed rider on this car, just the one who stepped up to say something to conductor.

.@amtrak you need a system for riders in the quiet car to ring for a conductor when ppl are being loud but and you aren’t comfortable confronting them. a number to text, or something. (and if you see this, pls send a conductor to the QC on train 186.)

.@amtrak well a conductor happened to come through, and i asked him to say something. bc the men weren’t talking right at that second, he told me i should say something myself if i know who it is, and left the car.

hey @DCCirculator, your bus just passed right by me on M & Half Sts SE toward eastern market, about 5 min ago. some parked trucks were partially obscuring the bus flag, but i was right under it and waving my arm—driver didn’t even make eye contact.

@AmtrakNECAlerts .3 trespassers were on the track. Train moving ~125 mph. “It appeared one individual was struck.” Police are currently looking for those involved. All rail traffic in area now stopped.

Train 125 is currently stopped south of Philadelphia due to a trespasser incident. Updates to come.
