Mr. Daniel Koranteng
Athletes in Ghana have faced years of inadequate support, so much so that it has almost become accepted as the norm. Edwin Gadayi had to travel by bus from Kumasi to Accra to catch a last-minute flight to Botswana after a late change in the team. In a situation that required urgency, why was a quicker and more efficient arrangement, such as a domestic flight, not made. This is part of a wider pattern. In 2023, Ghana was forced to withdraw from the men’s 4x100m relay at the World Championships after two athletes picked up injuries, with no reserve available to step in. Fast forward to the recently concluded World Relays, and Ghana’s entire delegation consisted of just five people: four athletes and a coach. There was no reserve, no physiotherapist, no nutritionist, and no structured recovery team. As a result, the athletes were left to manage their own recovery, sometimes relying on support from competitors. Despite these conditions, expectations remained high, and when things previously went wrong, their concerns were often dismissed as excuses. While recent complaints have centred on travel arrangements, those issues are only a small part of a much larger problem involving preparation, planning, and athlete welfare. What makes this even more striking is the team’s continued success in spite of these challenges. Ghana’s relay squad has qualified for four consecutive World Athletics Championships and back-to-back Olympic Games. At the last World Championships, they came within fractions of a second of a podium finish while recording two of the fastest times in the nation’s history. As it stands, Ghana may be witnessing a once-in-a-generation crop of athletes, one that risks being under-supported at a critical moment. We are going to regret this sooner rather than later.

Before we you blame Gadayi for being slow, know this. He was the emergency replacement for Fuseini, and this is how we got him to Gaborone. He arrived a noght before the heats, no recovery and didn’t train with the team and was asked to go and run for Ghana. He did his best.
Akosua Adjei@Akosua__Adjei

Gadayi came to Accra by bus when we needed him to be part of the team so bad. I Kumasi to Accra not less than 1 hour by flight? He got down from the car to use a motor. ahhhhh Some stories write themselves.

Yes. He’s the most famous entertainer in history. All of the entertainers you mentioned can sit courtside at a NBA game. Michael Jackson could not. @MagicJohnson told the story of how he invited MJ to a Lakers game and it created so much chaos, they had to stop the game. MJ had to leave because fans were leaving their seats to try to get to him. None of the people you mentioned have that level of fame where they can’t attend public events.

Is Michael Jackson really bigger than Eminem, Jay z, Lil Wayne, Taylor swift, Rihanna and Beyonce all put together?

If we don’t keep Carrick, the next manager has some huge shoes to fill. I don’t want to hear “he came to reset dressing room” or “give him time” yarns. Carrick didn’t need time to cook all these big teams or entertain us.

Troll just smashed 52,000 holders. Do we call that holder discovery? The last few weeks have been pump, pullback, consolidate, repeat. Today the trenches came alive from a 125% $TROLL pump, while gaining over 2600 holders in a day.. We flipped $USDT in trading volume on @coinbase moving into spot 10 for highest trading volume on one of the biggest exchanges in the world. Top gainers on all platforms and breaking back into the top 500 settling now at #435. 50m when you think of it is nothing. Bigger than $SHIB

To the person thinking $Troll is already at 50M therefore I’m late, please quit overthinking. THIS IS THE BIGGEST EVER INTERNET MEME. It’s Dogecoin level. Stop buying trash memes without real presence and narrative. Troll is the clear winner of the narrative to lead this season. Shill to friends, brothers, partners and even your enemies. The team literally bought the IP of trollface. Coinbase listed, binance alpha listed, kucoin listed. WHAT ELSE DO YOU WANT ? The community is the strongest I’ve seen since $Doge $Pepe and $SPX THE CULT IS SECOND TO NON. Grab a bag and hold for Billions, thank me later.

No Black Stars team since 1982 has "done great things", bcos every single AFCON and World Cup team has expended more than we spent on them, didnt make us a profit and/or did not win us a trophy. In that time, we can point to atheletes who won us actual medals, with less expense.
Raymond Nyamador@raymondnyamador

@Fentuo_ How do you even try to bring the two up for comparison? Even competition format makes it ridiculously crazy to compare let alone the sport. Well, the BS do win games since 2006 I have seen them do great things. Not athletes whose times keep going in reverse.
