🚨 The final number of dead at the Shajareh Tayyebeh girls’ school in Minab, southern Iran, is 108 school girls, a spokesperson for the Iranian Red Crescent Society said — more than half of the roughly 170 students who attend the school.
It remains unclear whether the strike was carried out by the U.S. or Israel. A CENTCOM spokesperson said they were “looking into” the reports.
Drop Site reported from the site of the massacre, speaking with families who lost their daughters. The school was reduced to rubble, and dozens of girls were trapped beneath collapsed concrete, with residents digging with their bare hands. We lived through a terrifying night, the quadcopters hovered directly above our tent at a height of 5 meters. We could hear the sound of the drone and kept wondering whether we were the target inside the tent or if we would be granted survival once again.

This is a stunning statement from Mamdani. Using the euphemism "officer-involved shooting" and saying he's "grateful to the first responders" who just shot a New Yorker under unclear circumstances are completely at odds with his previous views on policing.

None have yet addressed video from the same protest showing the flag of a Kahanist group, an openly Jewish supremacist terrorist organization. Kahanism, founded by Meir Kahane, is an eliminationist ideology that explicitly calls for the mass expulsion of Palestinians, the stripping of rights from non-Jews, and the use of terror against civilians to impose Jewish supremacy. The Kahanist group Kach was banned by Israel and designated a terrorist organization by Israel, the U.S., and the EU after its followers carried out deadly attacks, including the 1994 Hebron massacre that killed 29 Palestinian worshippers.
