@nathrichboy It is okay for them to verify every new profile you link to your account.
You won't be there to defend them when a problem of compliance/fraud arise because they want to pamper. You
English

Paystack used to be the poster child of African fintech excellence. Now they’re out here asking for CAC files, shareholder documents, and a matching corporate account number every single time you add a new profile to the same account you already own. 😭
Let that sink in.
You have 5 SaaS products? Congratulations. You now need 5 separate CAC certificates and 5 different corporate account numbers. For one payment provider. That you’re already verified on.
This isn’t compliance. This is bureaucracy cosplaying as compliance and it is genuinely killing SaaS growth in Nigeria one frustrated founder at a time.
The painful part is there’s no good alternative that matches Paystack’s infrastructure. So you’re stuck. Complaining to a wall while they keep adding friction to a product that was supposed to remove it.
Someone needs to walk into that office and ask who approved this policy with a straight face. Because I have questions. 😂
And honestly? At this point I’m just going to say what everybody is thinking.
#BringEzraBack. Please We are begging 😭🙏🏾
I said what I said. Nobody is perfect. The man allegedly did a thing. We’ve all done a thing. Some of us are doing a thing right now. But at least when Ezra was around, the product made sense and founders weren’t submitting the equivalent of a visa application just to collect payments.
Pardon him. Reinstate him. Give him a welcome back cake and a standing ovation. Because whatever is happening over there right now is clearly not it and the evidence is in the compliance portal. 😂
The goodwill is on life support Paystack. Do something. 👀

@DubemEmeka @Adasu_d_gr8 He has o
There was a time I asked them to delete my account, they didn't, they kept calling and texting till I went back
Sometimes, you really want to stop, but they don't rest till you take another one.
English

@Adasu_d_gr8 The court should fine him x3 of that money, he has no case
English

A guy just sued Okash Loan Company.
That he was frequently receiving calls from them to take their loan. That he was lured and coerced into receiving the loan.
And after being "sweet talked" into collecting the loan against his will, they are now embarrassing him with phone calls and threatening his life with inflating interest rate.
Case still de court.
English

@smartnakamoura Unfortunately, some clients don't want that.
They want "state of the art" user interfaces.

His finances?
Just that?

@opirus_oritz @health_basicTip Putting your finances online is dangerous... unless you have 247 police protection for yourself and family.

@AWealthypeace @Aje_Dynamicz We're building @propslink
We won't be collecting that kind of amount that agents would charge, but as it is with every platform, it has to be maintained, so you can't say anyone should build and run something like that without a fee at all.
English

@Aje_Dynamicz Honestly but the funny thing with this country is that they will still collect agent fee. Take am play first

@the_beardedsina I have questions to ask o, this is a thread:
How do you know an authentic drug?
English

Tech Bros and App developers.
An idea came to mind this morning. Is it doable?
I sketched in my Diary.
Can we have an App or software whereby, every drug has a bar code. Once you buy a drug or medical item, you scan it and you're instantly notified if it is original or fake.
If it is fake, An alert is immediately sent to NAFDAC which means the app's algorithm will be integrated into NAFDAC's database
Every Authentic manufacturer too will have these bar codes.
For every Flag to NAFDAC, The alert will also trace the location of production and entire distribution chain of the fake manufacturers.
Is it a doable?
Thinking out loud.
I'm open to more discussions.
You can send a DM
English

@excapel @the_beardedsina @buodataye Let's say when I buy the drugs as a pharmacist (wholesale), I take out one to test and afterwards, I placed that one back into the pack, have you considered what happens when it gets to a retailer or the person who wants to take the drug, if they have to scan again?
English

@the_beardedsina @buodataye Codes can be photographed and cloned regardless of encryption.
The real fix is a one time use tokens omce they scan code is dead forever.
And a second scan anywhere in Nigeria will automatically trigger a fake flag sent to NAFDAC with location.

@grok @boomtechzone @EngineerAdam123 Do you even believe a similar address can be generated by someone with intent to scam a particular user?
@grok think before you respond.
English

Legally, on TON blockchain, transfers are irreversible by design—no built-in reversal like banks. If the whale sues and proves identity/mistake (via the polite message acknowledging it), courts in many places could rule the kept 10k as unjust enrichment, requiring return. Enforcement is rare in pseudonymous crypto without KYC.
Ethically, it's mixed: returning 92% voluntarily beats keeping all, but the similar-address setup (address poisoning tactic) shows premeditated scam intent. Not fully honest.
English

A scammer received 126,000 TON from a whale, worth roughly $220,000 USDT, but later returned 116,000 TON (about $203,000 USDT) and kept 10,000 TON (around $17,000 USDT) as “compensation.”
What happened is that when a whale was about to send coins, they accidentally copied the wrong wallet address from the transaction history. This happened because the scammer had created a similar-looking address and had previously sent a small amount of a coin to it, making it appear legitimate
The whale wasn’t paying attention; he saw the familiar first characters of the address and the last and copied it without checking.
He then sent 126K TON to the scammer by mistake.
When the scammer received the funds, he took 10K TON, then sent back 116K TON and even dropped a message in the transaction saying:
“Sorry, the money is too much. I know it’s your hard‑earned funds.”
🤔 What would you call this kind of scammer?
And if you were the whale. Would you forgive him?
