This was very inspired by the artist yumeitigoalice! I don’t want to mimic their style, but I’m very inspired by their style of backgrounds and clothes, with ruffled dresses and many picture frames and Victorian-like rooms and such

@MrSkippyable money has never been the issue with these studios. they're making millions if not billions. all this money goes to the people at the top in a selfish attempt to increase margins. the corporation makes bank the employees get their jobs and pay cut.

@Peach_esu @CrystalStance A content creator is a very specific type of social user, so no, not all artists are content creators. Artist isn’t my occupation, nor is comms, it’s not my main income and it’s barely even a “side hustle” for me. My acc doesn’t function like a content creator at all.

@__xxstygian @CrystalStance Not everyone who posts is a content creator but you are, whether you want it or not. Since the moment you put "artist" in your nickname as type of your occupation and since you've started taking comms under this name, u became a brand. And everyone is, me included

Is it fair of me to say that I will likely only commission artists who allow you to post the art (with credits) online with the personal licence or any other licence included with the base price?

@__xxstygian @kofidereVT Reasons to use AI: It's a fascinating concept and fun to mess around with. Literally all the reason one needs. And no, you are kind of beholden to what the dress up game provides. Plus it's still not spontaneous.

artists! i want to know something! if someone came to you with a gen-AI reference, what would you do? i think many would reject it (which is understandable!) but i think the approach of suggesting other methods (stick figures, word descriptions, mood boards) is more effective!

my tips on finding your style: - figure out what elements you don’t like drawing -figure out a way to like drawing it or not drawing it at all - look at as much art as possible to see how others are also dealing with this -> usually ends in something very distinct to you
