Writing reviews on games that have SO much going on for them and keeping it at a normal length is becoming way too difficult Or is it that games these days are so much bigger?

@ntheweird All the info I had pointed to its being a single dev endeavor but that they had assistance, such as in the case of Schedule 1 where Tyler was the solo developer but also hired quite a few people to help him bring it over the finish line I'll change course in future coverage

@57Deek @destructoid You don't, really, at least not in the traditional sense. I just found the RPG side of things a lot stronger in TW1 than in TW3, and the romance with Shani is perhaps the best in the trilogy. Every decision feels a lot more meaningful, too.

@destructoid It certainly was extremely good, but how do you compete with 3 plus the dlc… It had a great soundtrack for sure, and I loved the swamp atmosphere and music in particular.

I played The Witcher 1 as a kid and bounced off. It turns out I just needed a fully developed frontal lobe, and, in fact, it's actually the best game in the trilogy in many ways. destructoid.com/the-witcher-1-…
