Those of us who have known the truth about Bruno Fernandes have said 'there's him & then there's everyone else'? Here is the proof of that quote. In a league where goals are so hard to come by, he is a living, breathing hub of creation. This is absurd.

Such an endearing post match conference by Sanju Samson. He spoke of the inner struggle that everyone has to go through to overcome fear of failure, but few speak of without pretense. Also the humility to say it could have gone the other way and why faith is important. There is the Hardik way to double down and not let doubt creep in - looks spectacular when it comes off, ridiculous when it doesn't. There is the Samson way to wrestle with self doubt, persevere but know yourself well enough to not put on a mask. Feels authentic but can be self limiting. There is the Virat way - to channel aggression into maniacal discipline and bend the world to write your history. There is the Sachin way - Master the terrain but remain the servant of the Game to be the GOAT. Sports is the reminder of the best possibility in us. There is no one way for all - Only the way to channel your Svabhava towards its potential but realize the larger game is to give it all but not give in or give up but also be content at the end of the day.

There has been considerable commentary around the management of the @IndiaAiExpo. Large, high-visibility forums like #IndiaAIImpactSummit2026 will always invite scrutiny. The more important question, however, is different: did the platform enable serious dialogue and institutional engagement? From our experience, it did. At @qure_ai, we have quietly built and deployed AI from India to the world. Today, our systems are supporting care and saving lives across 106 countries. Through our panel on “Public Health Powered by AI” and conversations across the event, we engaged deeply with government leaders, public health institutions, academia, and industry on integrating AI into national programmes. We also launched our India Impact Report, capturing the real-world outcomes AI is already driving within public health systems. The conversation has moved beyond pilots and new use cases to what truly matters: saving lives with population-scale deployments. What stood out most at the summit was the maturity of the ecosystem. Discussions were less about experimentation and more about standards, governance, and sustained adoption within public programmes. India is not just talking about AI. India is designing, building, and scaling it for the world. @MEAIndia, @AshwiniVaishnaw, @AyushmanNHA, @Sunil_Barnwal, @AfricaCDC, @PMOIndia, @RailTel @paragkrg @kmraja @pwarier @shibuvij

Delhi: On India-AI Impact Summit 2026, Founding Member & Chief Product Officer Qure.ai, Ankit Modi says, "We see a lot of potential for AI in India, given the massive volume of people that we have and given the need that we have in terms of being the global south. AI here is not a luxury, AI here will be a necessity because we have a lot of people to serve, not enough experts and the existing expert when armed with AI will create a lot more impact and will serve a lot more people in a much better way."

When AI is embedded into public health systems, it doesn’t just improve efficiency, it saves lives. @qure_ai’s latest impact report proves that early detection at population scale is where India can lead the world. #IndiaAIImpactSummit2026 #IndiaAISummit2026 #IndiaAI

Delhi: On India-AI Impact Summit 2026, Founding Member & Chief Product Officer Qure.ai, Ankit Modi says, "It has immense benefits for India. We have seen that when we do state-level pilots or healthcare pilots with public health systems, we are able to show 35% more TB patients are detected. We are able to show that lung cancer diagnosis time can go down by 50%, which are all life-saving interventions, not just for the patient itself, but also their loved ones, friends and family."

Thank you Hon’ble Health Minister @visrane for the leadership & support. Over 1 lakh chest X-rays screened and diagnosis time cut by more than 50%. This is what #AI looks like when deployed inside real public healthcare systems. Goa is showing the way!
Vishwajit Rane@visrane

Under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi ji, Goa is leading India’s healthcare transformation through the power of AI. Addressing a joint press conference, we highlighted how, with the support of AstraZeneca and Qure.AI, our state has already screened over 1 lakh chest X-rays using AI, identifying thousands of critical lung nodules and cutting diagnosis time by more than 50%. Goa is among the first states in the country to scale AI-enabled lung cancer detection across PHCs and CHCs. Our goal is clear: early detection, faster treatment, and saving lives. We are committed to expanding this initiative to over 2 lakh screenings, making Goa a national model for AI-driven diagnostics and accessible, affordable healthcare for all. Goa will lead. Goa will innovate. Goa will save lives. @AstraZeneca @qure_ai

Performance Hints Over the years, my colleague Sanjay Ghemawat and I have done a fair bit of diving into performance tuning of various pieces of code. We wrote an internal Performance Hints document a couple of years ago as a way of identifying some general principles and we've recently published a version of it externally. We'd love any feedback you might have! Read the full doc at: abseil.io/fast/hints.html

Sharing an interesting recent conversation on AI's impact on the economy. AI has been compared to various historical precedents: electricity, industrial revolution, etc., I think the strongest analogy is that of AI as a new computing paradigm (Software 2.0) because both are fundamentally about the automation of digital information processing. If you were to forecast the impact of computing on the job market in ~1980s, the most predictive feature of a task/job you'd look at is to what extent the algorithm of it is fixed, i.e. are you just mechanically transforming information according to rote, easy to specify rules (e.g. typing, bookkeeping, human calculators, etc.)? Back then, this was the class of programs that the computing capability of that era allowed us to write (by hand, manually). With AI now, we are able to write new programs that we could never hope to write by hand before. We do it by specifying objectives (e.g. classification accuracy, reward functions), and we search the program space via gradient descent to find neural networks that work well against that objective. This is my Software 2.0 blog post from a while ago. In this new programming paradigm then, the new most predictive feature to look at is verifiability. If a task/job is verifiable, then it is optimizable directly or via reinforcement learning, and a neural net can be trained to work extremely well. It's about to what extent an AI can "practice" something. The environment has to be resettable (you can start a new attempt), efficient (a lot attempts can be made), and rewardable (there is some automated process to reward any specific attempt that was made). The more a task/job is verifiable, the more amenable it is to automation in the new programming paradigm. If it is not verifiable, it has to fall out from neural net magic of generalization fingers crossed, or via weaker means like imitation. This is what's driving the "jagged" frontier of progress in LLMs. Tasks that are verifiable progress rapidly, including possibly beyond the ability of top experts (e.g. math, code, amount of time spent watching videos, anything that looks like puzzles with correct answers), while many others lag by comparison (creative, strategic, tasks that combine real-world knowledge, state, context and common sense). Software 1.0 easily automates what you can specify. Software 2.0 easily automates what you can verify.

India’s fight against TB is achieving remarkable momentum. The latest WHO Global tuberculosis report 2025 highlights that India has recorded a commendable reduction in TB incidence since 2015 and it is nearly twice the global rate of decline. This is one of the sharpest drops seen anywhere in the world. Equally heartening is the expansion of treatment coverage, the fall in ‘missing cases’ and the sustained rise in treatment success. I compliment all those who have worked towards achieving this success. We remain committed to ensuring a healthy and fit India! pib.gov.in/PressReleasePa… @WHO
