Public meetings for development are interestingly very bipartisan against me because liberals are like “we shouldn’t approve this. We need to consider the impact this might have to this specific bird that flies through here once every 6 years” And conservatives are like “I do not want to live near an immigrant”

One major takeaway from NAIOS last week: IOS is becoming increasingly institutional. $100M portfolio deals used to be considered large. Now groups are discussing $500M to $1B IOS portfolios as debt markets continue maturing. We recorded a lot while we were there and will be sharing more takeaways soon on YouTube and X.
