We are hiring a Lead Product Designer @getplumhq. Great design exists for ordering food, booking rides, buying clothes. Healthcare—where stakes are highest—gets the worst UX. We're fixing that. Apply here -> careers.kula.ai/plumhq/6439 Your portfolio should make us stop scrolling. Show us you care about details others miss. Think systems, not just interfaces. You'll design the full health stack—from nudging preventive care to navigating insurance claims to everything in between. You test ideas ruthlessly, not defend them. You know the difference between clever and helpful. You'll work directly with founders. Know the right designer? Send them our way. Reply or DM me.

Introducing the Printing Press, a CLI-factory and a CLI-library. Built with @trevin. 🏭🖨📚 Most APIs suck for agents. Most MCPs suck for agents. Most official CLIs suck for agents. They waste tokens and time. @steipete started making his own because of this. 📚 A Library of agent-native CLIs you install today (Linear, ESPN, Flight GOAT (Google Flights + Kayak nonstop), Contact Goat (LinkedIn + Happenstance + Deepline more) +30+ more) 🏭 A factory that prints new ones for any service - just type /printing-press CLIs are fast, local, SQLite-backed. Work in Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw, Hermes. 🌐 printingpress.dev

built an interactive guide to teach you the basics of mahjong ! 🀄 it includes rulesets from different regions (hk and taiwan for now) with a few interactive elements to illustrate mahjong concepts. more demos in thread, and a bit about the tools i used to build this. the one thing this guide can’t really capture is how social mahjong is -- mahjong tables are never silent ! they’re full of overlapping conversations and the constant click-clack of acrylic tiles stacking and shuffling against each other. come to @modal's mahjong night tmrw to experience that part for yourself : )

I know there's some ickiness about Perlexity's social strategy off late here, but they really are doing great optimisation on web search as a problem statement. Gemini has Google and OpenAI has Bing and still Perplexity is fastest at getting a wide range of very accurate results for generic long tail search queries. Perplexity's deep research is also very unique. It is not as "deep" as ChatGPT or Gemini but still gets enough info at almost 1/50th the time taken by those. It is hard to survive when you don't own compute or models, but they are still one of best "wrapper" innovators imo.
Perplexity@perplexity_ai

We've published new research on how we post-train models for accurate search-augmented answers. Our SFT + RL pipeline improves search, citation quality, instruction following, and efficiency. With Qwen models, we match or beat GPT models on factuality at a lower cost.

Rule #1 of making not boring software is to understand the full canvas of software. It's not patterns and components. It's millions of individual pixels that will do, show, & respond to whatever you desire 120×/second. We've barely just begun.
Zain Shah@zan2434

Imagine every pixel on your screen, streamed live directly from a model. No HTML, no layout engine, no code. Just exactly what you want to see. @eddiejiao_obj, @drewocarr and I built a prototype to see how this could actually work, and set out to make it real. We're calling it Flipbook. (1/5)

Unkey, Granola, Midday are good examples of using shadcn/ui over time. Started with the default components, a bit of branding and shipped v1. When the time came (more resources, funding, hires), they rebranded. And when they did, the code was right there. Their code. Code that had evolved with the product.
