। - प्रियदर्शी Happy Independence Day, India!

Requesting @DGCAIndia to investigate this matter and ensure stronger airline accountability for baggage safety. Non-resident travelers deserve better treatment. IndiGo must revise LRT tagging practices and respect passenger rights. #Aviation #ConsumerRights

Despite providing photos & invoices, IndiGo is denying proper compensation citing LRT rules applied without consent. This is poor customer care and disregards Indian consumer protection laws & DGCA guidelines. We demand fair cash reimbursement now. #IndiGo #BaggageClaim #DGCA

@IndiGo6E I traveled with my wife on PNR E93RGK (24-Jul-2025) on a domestic flight. Upon arrival, her checked bag (Ricardo brand) severely damaged without consent or warning of an LRT tag. IndiGo refuses cash reimbursement, offering a ₹500 voucher—unacceptable! #CustomerRights

This is extremely disappointing. CBSE-bangaluru is devoiding right of a kid with T1 diabetes to give the 10th board exam with his full efficiency. This is in spite of clear instructions from the #NCPCR and #CBSE central offices. @MoHFW_INDIA @OfficeOf_MM @PMOIndia

DO PLANTS FEEL PAIN? Carnivore view: "Plants feel pain just as animals do. So if you are a vegetarian you can't argue that animals alone feel pain." My friend Kalavai Venkat says: "Plants don't have a central nervous system. So, while they have life, they don't feel pain the way cattle do. The difference is non-trivial." There is a way to test if plants feel pain. Look at nature. The defining principle of evolution is that nature will never give you a sense that you cannot use. Indeed, it would be extremely cruel if nature gave plants the ability to feel pain but not the ability to escape or avoid the source of pain. There is not a single instance of an evolutionary trait in any living being that gives it needless pain. What is pain? It is a stimulus that tell us to react in two ways - flight or fight. If we don't feel pain, we would not know that we are in danger. It is a basic and essential evolutionary mechanism that helps us survive. So it flies against evolution that nature would endow plants (that are rooted deep into the ground) with the ability to feel pain. Some meat eaters say plants "scream" based on the chemicals released by them when insects invade a forest. However, the plant is signalling so that other trees can release chemicals that make their leaves unpalatable to insects and animals. When Jagdish Chandra Bose invented the crescograph and proved that plants react to stimuli, people argued plants feel pain. This is arriving at the wrong conclusion with the right facts. Even the severed tail of a lizard writhes long after the animal is dead. Nobody will argue the tail is in pain. Nature is not cruel. Only if you have internalised the Abrahamic concept of an angry, vengeful, tyrant god would you attribute those qualities to nature. Nature is benign and it takes its time to evolve your senses. It takes millions of years to make subtle, minor changes in your biology. Nature is also a responsible force - it will never give you the faculty of pain and not give you the ability to flee from it. Because that would be a cruel thing to do. This is not a meat eater vs vegetarian argument. Meat eating is often due to necessity. You can't ask an Eskimo or Chukchi to become vegetarian in their native environment because they only have one month of summer. Their diet is entirely seal, fish, reindeer or elk. Eating ethically slaughtered meat in moderation won't harm your health. Vegetarianism is better for the environment. It's entirely up to you. Just don't believe in the wisdom of Youtubers.
